Get what ya pay for
This tripod worked amazing while it lasted, but it didn't last long. I have had this for a little over two weeks and it rather quickly broke. One of the legs broke first, leaving it still usable, but just the other day the neck of the stand itself broke as well. If this has a higher durability, I would order another one, but it looks like I'll be looking for something a little more sturdy.

Its good value for your money but if you're just looking for something small then its for you. I can only have my phone in it horizontally and my phone slips out of the stand a lot ... and the black spongey part that holds the phone got stuck onto it and ripped off the stand .... I recommend this for a personal/hobby type of thing , it doesn't seem intended for important circumstances.

Perfect!!
This item is great! I use FaceTime a lot and get sick of holding my phone when I'm laying in bed. It DID fit my iPhone 6S Plus. At first I didn't think it would, but it fits! You attach your phone with the lever and it kind of clamps your phone down to hold it (just like the photo), then it has a swivel thing so you can adjust the angle of your phone to your liking. :)The legs are very flexible and sturdy and you can definitely hang it off of things.

Originally I gave it 5 stars because it arrived in time and looked sturdy. I was hoping it would have lasted longer than it did. One of the legs has fallen off and now the ball and socket doesn't hold and my camera falls off all the time. If you use a tripod several times a week, this may not be the one for you.

Absolute waste of money. I need this tomorrow for a live stream and the leg breaks upon the first time opening and maneuvering it. Normally I'd say "you get what you pay for", but you don't even get that...

My hobby of cay stop motion filming wouldn't be possible without this tripod.Love it!

broken, too cheap to bother returning
It worked OK, but now it's broken. I am going to buy a little more expensive one and see if that helps.
