Don’t waste your $$
I was very excited to receive this sleeve for my PICC line. Once I opened the package, I was immediately disappointed. Firstly, the sizing & description needs to be fixed. The material isn’t as “soft & stretchy“ as it is advertised. I have a very thin arm (approx 7.25” bicep) & this sleeve was very constricting on my arm to the point that it was cutting off my circulation. It was so uncomfortable that I had to remove it within minutes of wear. Secondly, the make of the sleeve is just so tacky- with loose stitching & threads throughout, it even had a HOLE! I purchased this sleeve because I liked the concept that the black mesh gives a view of the PICC site & this was the only brand that I could find that had that. Sadly, I cannot speak positively in terms of its functionality & design- even worse- it is so expensive & cannot be returned or exchanged, even though mine came flawed with a hole. 0 stars.

Doesn't run big or small, not worth $30.00
I read a lot of reviews here saying that these ran big or stretched, some reviews said that these ran small. Neither is the case. I ordered small thinking that it would stretch, but it was way too small for my arm. Product had a hole in it, not sure if I caused the hole or if the hole was already there. This sleeve is not stretchy in the slightest. I kind of expected it to be made of some sort of lycra type material, but it seems to be made of a non stretchy nylon type material. Definitely not worth the $30.00 that I paid for it. I'd be surprised if it cost more than $1.00 to make these sleeves. Oh well, can't return it due to the hole, so I guess I'll live and learn.

Works well, but order one size down
The slight compression provided enough support for my PICC line to stop hurting every time I moved my arm so that the site could continue healing. It does stretch out, so hoping that a wash and dry will snug it back up again. Ordered 2 of the longest ones as well since my PICC site is a bit lower, meaning that the sleeve doesn't fully cover the bottom of my dressing and the mesh window doesn't really show my insertion site if pulled up high enough to be fully comfortable. Took 3 tries to get the size that was most comfortable. If you are close to the lower border on measurement, order a size down. My arm was 13.6", so tried the 13-15... way too big. Tried a different brand in a smaller size... still too big. Finally tried the 11-13, pretty much perfect

Worth It!
Now having my 2nd picc line in I decided to break down and invest in a cloth sleeve because the ones provided through the doctor office stretch out way too quickly. My arm is 13' and I bought a small. The cover is breathable and comfortable to wear. I appreciate the mesh window so I can monitor my line but also because it adds a little more comfort over the bandage area which can be sweaty at times.I will say it does slip down at times but not to the point where I'd not buy it again if I needed another. I figure that is a part of the package when I am looking for comfort as a top priority, especially with sensitive skin.I'd say go for it, it is worth the investment :)

Sizing WAY OFF, but that’s not the only issue
I’m a women with a 14 inch arm measurement (measured 3x - once by myself, once by an RN at the hospital who inserted my picc line, and once again by the home health RN). No question that my arm measurement is accurate. I ordered the M per the sizing guide (13” to 15”). To say the sleeve runs big is an understatement. The thing is huge. It was so big that it literally just would fall off my arm without me even moving at all, WHILE wearing the picc line which would have added extra bulk to my arm. It felt like I must have been wearing an XL, so I checked the package and the cover itself and it very clearly said M 13” - 15”. So based on my experience I probably need to order at least 2 sizes down, however that wasn’t the only issue. The quality of the material is that of a very, very thin and cheap sock, but unlike a sock (or even a t-shirt) the fabric has ZERO stretch - kind of like a super thin table cloth. The top and bottom of the tube appear to be even wider than the tube itself, so no wonder it just falls off. Lastly the window for the picc like is made of very thin mesh netting which feels like I could tear with my fingers if I tried.Overall I would not recommend. I ordered two other picc line covers to try out from Amazon that should be arriving soon; in the meantime I’ll be returning this asap.

I recently purchased the Care+Wear PICC line cover and I was blown away by the original black cover. It was way nicer than the mesh option that the hospital had provided for me. I saw a number of options and shared them with my nurse, who told me that they wouldn’t work as they constricted air flow and prevented air from getting to the insertion site. And then I found Care+Wear with my nurse and we were both amazed. It has a unique mesh window which allows for air to get into the dressing and allows you to see the insertion site and monitor for leakage and infection. The antimicrobial treatment made me feel more comfortable about wearing the product and being able to wash and dry it with my clothes has made caring for my PICC line amazingly simple. The company also has a number of other colors and designs and what I love about this is that it was clearly designed with fashion and functionality in mind. It allows me to feel more comfortable in social settings and I’ve felt super comfortable going out and not having everyone staring.

Fits for dad doing TPN
Bought this for my dad currently doing TPN. Got it in a medium as he’s lost a lot of weight (he’s to 210 right now) and got a medium. Fits great. Doesn’t have a hole in it but you could cut one out if needed. He’s got the long cords and it holds very well. Paid extra for the faster shipping and I’m happy I did as he was only using gauze from the nurses before this. Would recommend.

but it is very nice. The color is a beige gray
This is overpriced, but it is very nice. The color is a beige gray. While not flesh tone it does look nice when wearing short sleeves.

Good but expensive for what it is
This was great for my Picc line and much nicer than the tubigripsupplied by the hospital. however it is extraordinarily expensive for what it is. I ordered it in to the UK. To be honest I find it hard to see how the manufacturer charges so much for it given that the target audience are all going to be people with serious illness - in my case cancer. So yes I though it was good and it is working well for me but I do feel ripped off which is a shame
