Made with cheaper plastic now?
Had previous ones for 2-3 years with no problems. The new ones must be made of less quality plastic I bought a new one a few months back and only lasted a few months. Now this one only lasted a week.

Love this entire system
Love this entire system. We've got an acre and have over half of it covered. Works with our little dogs as well as our big dog. This one only came with one set of red rubber covers that didn't fit (too big) but I still had them from when I initially bought this setup. Don't quite understand all of the red nub size differences.

neither good nor bad, but this is NOT the right collar to add to the Extreme Dog fence.
