Arrived Damaged!
This product arrived damaged and not useable. The maker refused to send a new one or give credit because they said it was out of warranty. It has just arrived, and yet it was already out of warranty. This in my mind was almost criminal!Bruce

It does an adequate job. Juice is fresh an always good for you!
This machine is a smaller model of the Juiceman Jr that I’ve had for years. It’s lighter weight, only accepts smaller chunks of fruits & Vegetables through its smaller aperture, and doesn’t spin fast enough to fully extract the juice. Lots of juice goes into the wast bin.

Reduced Standard - Disappointed with performance
Bought this item in July 2006 to replace the one I had purchased from Sears about four years ago. Gave the used one to my brother, who is far more satisfied with his used than I am with my new. I found the new juicer to be less sturdy and less efficient, as the strainer basket allows a great deal of pulp through, making it compulsory that the juice is strained for a smooth swallow. I am disappointed and unhappy that I stand to lose some of the vital nutrients by the act of straining. I need a replacement strainer.

This is exactly like the Juiceman Jr I received as a gift many years ago, except for the clear section (mine is solid). This is a noisy juicer, but it does the job. I bought an expensive Jack LaLanne juicer & hated it. I had my old Juiceman Jr ready to give to the thrift store, but I dug it out & gave the brand new Jack LaLanne one to them instead! You have to use a toothbrush or vegetable brush or whatever to clean the screen on one part, but it's not that bad. I haven't opened this new one yet because my old one is still working, but I think a brush comes with this one. None came with my old one. The switch on my old one quit working, & that's why I bought the Jack LaLanne juicer, but my husband bypassed the old switch & put a toggle switch on it. It doesn't look very pretty, but it works! If it ever gives up the ship, I have this new one to turn to, & I hope it works as well & as long as my old one.

Good Juicer for the money
I purchased this juicer at a yard sale about 2 years ago and really like it. I wanted to try juicing, and found that in the first year I used it once or twice time a week. The juicer works well with all hard fruit and veggies and does pretty well with kale and spinach - but the Green star or more pro-juicers may be better if your doing mostly greens. The juicer does vibrate when the filter gets full. To remedy this I usually stop the juicer and clean the filter, just wipe it quickly to remove any built up pulp, replace, and continue.I called the company and they sent me a replacement manual and juice recipe book for free. Now that I'm juicing daily, the juicer is still performing well, I may upgrade this year, but I'm happy to recommend this anyone starting out on juicing, or who cannot spend $200 and up for a Professional juicer.
