Antarctic Star Nugget Ice Maker Countertop with Soft Chewable Ice

This little ice machine is amazing. I just wish it had the option to hook up to the water line because I do have to refill it multiple times a day (6 people in the house). We have never had one issue from it and we have had it a year now. It's easy enough to clean, I try to clean it once every two weeks. Makes ice quickly and it's not loud at all. Best purchase we've made in a while!

I absolutely loved this nugget ice maker! The ice is small squares and exactly the kind of Sonic-style ice I was hoping for. It makes ice quickly and has been perfect for everyday drinks. I really like that it comes with a basket and scoop, and the removable top cover makes it easy to access and clean. The auto-cleaning feature is also a huge convenience. The stainless steel silver finish looks sleek and fits nicely on my countertop without taking up too much space. Overall, this was a fantastic addition to my kitchen. If you love crunchy nugget ice, I highly recommend it!

I love it! Only thing is I wish it held a higher capacity of ice. Otherwise it’s perfect for iced coffees, iced teas, any type of iced drinks! Super easy to use and even easier to maintain. I’ve had mine for about 6 months and it’s still going strong

Machine LOOKS really nice, and was excited to try it out. Followed all instructions, cleaned machine, waited hours for collant to be "upright" after shipping before using. I will age, be put in an old folks home, and die before this things produces a decent amount of ice. After 30 mins there is barely enough for one drink. It spits out one little pellet every minute or two, to the point where you want to cheer and congratulate each nugget dropping into the bin. It reminds me of all the kid toy appliances (Snoopy slushy maker, easy bake oven, etc). It's cute, and it does indeed produce something.... just nothing truly helpful or usable. You just wait and wait and the small pile it makes per 30 mins is like gold, but then again, it starts melting away before you have even enough for ONE GLASS. It's a bummer because it looks the part. The noise is not terrible -- what you hear is basically the fan, which isn't annoying. (The fan and each measely pellet dropping into the bin one at a time). And, the ice is kind of nice. If you are ONE person, making ONE drink, and you have a ton of time, MAYBE this would be worth it. Otherwise, complete waste of the attractive design it came in, and embarrassingly sad function. UPDATE: I've changed my expectations, and with those I'd give this a 4. As long as you have all day to run while harvesting the bins of ice into ziplocs as they're made and put them in the freezer, you'll have a decent stash of ice. Just know you need to plan very far ahead and literally run it all day long. The ice itself is very nice.

HI, I don't usually do reviews. But, I really like this little countertop ice maker. It's great! The nuggets are just the right size. Not too hard, can't explain it, the ice is kinda lite and chewy. Told the kids I was eating ice skittles. Easy to use. Quick too. I can get a full tray (about 6 scoops) in less than 60 minutes, maybe 45? I guess it makes some noise, it's not loud enough to bother me one way or the other. One button does it all - one quick tap to make ice and one short push to clean the machine. Easy to clean, cycle takes 15 minutes, dump the water (pull to edge of counter and open plug on bottom, let drain in small jug or bowl. Then, rinse, repeat twice and let air dry overnight and it's ready to go and go and go again the next day. Feel sturdy, solid, I'm thinking if the inside is built as good as the outside this will last a long time. very functional, very easy.

Arrived today. Bought to replace our Frigidaire model the quit working. A lot quieter than the other. Works well. Filled with water, Plugged in, and had ice within 20 minutes. Sleak design and really easy to use. Fast delivery. Will update after a few weeks of use...

I really like this ice maker. It is super quick and easy to use. It is noisy but we don’t mind it. It’s not noisier than the dishwasher or the washing machine. The add water and ice full lights don’t seem to work/come on ever but that’s pretty minor. EDIT: apparently I just hadn’t run out of water or filled the ice entirely!

I received my Ice Machine Saturday evening around 7pm. I didn't read reviews until after I had already ordered it, so I was a bit skeptical (since it was open box) so I just prayed it would work well. Since the machine was delivered upside down I waited about 3 hours to let the refrigerant settle before I plugged it in to give it a clean and a first run. The little machine so far has surpassed my expectations. I filled a half gallon ziplock bag (those were the only bags I had) with ice before I went to bed around 11:45pm. I filled another 2 half gallon ziplock bags from 11:30 am-2:15 pm. On Sunday. I am truly amazed with this ice maker and for now it gets 4 stars. I would give it 5 stars however, today the ice machine has a bit more noise than it had last night. I will give it more time and see how it goes and if it continues to produce ice as it is now I just may upgrade to 5 stars.
