The Lexar E32C 64GB flash drive has been a really handy little drive to keep around. I like having both the USB-A and USB-C connections since it makes transferring files between different devices quick and easy. It’s compact, feels well made, and the transfer speeds have been good for everyday use. Nice option for backing up photos, moving files, or keeping important documents with you without carrying a larger external drive.

Look, I'm not super techy, but I know what works. And these Lexar E32C flash drives? They work. I've had 'em for over two years now, and I actually bought two of them. The dual USB-A and USB-C is super handy, especially with all the different devices I use. They're fast enough for what I need, and they've been reliable. For the price, you really can't go wrong. If you need a simple, dual-connector flash drive that just does its job, this is it.

This is a switch of sorts on the usual USB thumbdrive in that it sports both USB type A and type C connectors. The latter lets the flashdrive connect to some of the more recent devices which use USB type C ports. The downside of this is that the connector "flips" around to expose the alternate type, but in adopting this design, there is no protection for the connector. I mistakenly thought this was a drive which protected its USB type A connector by flipping it inward to hide it, but in this case, doing so simply exposes the type C connector with its metal shroud to pick up whatever is out there in terms of ESD. Despite this drawback, the drive is well made and is quite small (which might not be an advantage when it comes to losing it). With up to a 100 MB/s read speed, it is plenty fast for most all uses and sizes are available which should satisfy most any portable data storage requirements.

TLDR: Some, but not all of the pins are corroded fresh out of the box. I purchased two of these to use with both modern laptops, and my large collection of legacy devices. When I received them, they were properly in what looked like new packaging I had to cut open, but neither drive worked with any port on my computer (in either orientation), while other type-c drives did. On checking computer logs, I saw errors with USB2.0 initialization. I took a closer look under a microscope (see attached picture), and while the USB3.0 pins at one end are bright and shiny, the rest of the pins on the flash drive are black and corroded. That is not a trick of the lighting. Knowing what to look for, it's even visible without magnification. Not only do these not work properly on some computers (I suspect they work fine if USB3.0 is tried first by the computer), but the lack of quality when new is clearly why other reviewers have unreliable operation over time. This is quite sad, as I otherwise really like the look and size of the drive.

Much smaller than I thought when ordering. Feels solid for is size. I really like it. The whole large end goes right into a standard USB A port. The USB C end works instantly in Android phone, tablet, and Windows laptop. Even though it's a fast USB 3.2 it must be realized that small devices also have very small circuitry and little cooling capability, so it doesn't sustain that fast transfer rate on large data transfers, but bursts up and goes back down to 0 in-between in a sawtooth pattern when graphed. But still satisfied for my needs, and price was excellent, so I bought 2. Also, the size "32G" is clearly labeled on the back.

Es muy práctica, yo la uso para cuándo no tengo una computadora a mi alcance, la conecto a mi celular y paso lo que quiero imprimir. También puedo ver archivos en cualquier momento solo con conectarlo a mi celular. El precio está excelente para lo que ofrece. La calidad es buena!.

La versatilidad del dispositivo lo hace doblemente valioso, en mi Android y en la Mac del trabajo las velocidades de escritura y lectura son excelentes, en mi lap y mi pc de casa hace cuello de botella porque mis puertos USB no son 3.0 (según si, pero lo dudo) aún así es bastante competente y una memoria excelente en comparación con otras que tengo, ampliamente recomendada... Es un poco pequeña pero se siente de buena calidad

Muy rápida y cómoda de transportar, se gira con facilidad. Rápido almacenamiento de información. Materiales muy delicados, casi no la cargo en mi día a día, y ya está muy desgastada, estéticamente se ve muy maltratada.
