Wow I've tried a lot of products but this is truly the best one. A super natural finish and it holds the hair in place but your hair remains super soft and not stiff or crunchy. And you don't need much but a dime sized dab so a jar lasts a long time. I love it!

Received this product today. I was a little bummed out when I opened the packaging, and the lid to the product was not on the container. I looked at the product itself, and there were no marks of anyone putting their hands in it, so I let that gripe go. I still think that there should be some plastic protector sealing the lid to the container, as there are others on here that have received this item open as well. As far as the product is concerned, it is awesome. I have thinning hair, and its longer because I am balding on the top of my head, and I have enough hair throughout the rest of my head to cover up the bald spot. I have used other hair products...creams, pastes, waxes, gels, pomades, etc....and none of them have I ever been satisfied with. They either gave too much shine, were too sticky, were hard to wash out, or had a bad smell to them. SO due to that, I tried this product. I immediately like the smell of it. Like vanilla cream. Upon rubbing it in my hands, I liked the texture, and when applying it to my hair, it gave a matte look, which is what I wanted, and was easy to apply. It isn't a super strong hold, but the hold is strong enough to keep my hair in place (probably not in a windy area though). It was very easy to apply as well as wash out of my hands. I think I finally found the product for me!! Time will tell, but for right now, I am very satisfied with this product!

Good hold, washes out easily, smells nice

Great hair product. Effectively holds but keeps your hair flexible and not hard. You can still restyle it if your hair gets a little messed up. Washes out pretty easy. Smells good. A little pricey, but havent found anything that works better.

For my whole life, I have hated putting stuff in my hair. I am very active and like to let my hair grow. This lets me set it how I want it in the morning at work, but then afterwards if I go to the gym or workout, it still holds. If you sweat and want to refix your hair, just wet it, and recomb it. The cream will still have some hold in it even if you fully rinse your head with water. You can then restyle. Upon shampoo though, it immediately comes out super easy. I love this, as it lets me style nicely for when I want, but when I then am active, it makes it easy to recover a messy hairstyle and make it look neat again in 5 min without having to reapply the product.

Before I started clicking my hair back into pomadours, quiffs, and whatever, I went for dry, textured styles and used wax products like Gatsby Moving Rubber Air Rise and Gatsby Matte Wax. After switching to pomade, I missed the more "natural" look, but I still wanted to look more grown up and I liked the restylability of pomade. Outside of the usual oil and water based pomades I typically use (Shear Revival Crystal Lake, Nostalgic Handmade Firm Hold, and more) I also tried products like Imperial Matte Pomade, Mister Pomadour Beeswax Paste, Baxter Clay Pomade, Shear REvival American Gardens, and Lockhart's Matte Clay to try to make my hair as natural looking as possible, but still easily combed back with strong hold. While I like some of these products, especially Lockhart's, I didn't get the right combination of comb-ability, natural-ality, and strength. Until now. Layrite Natural Matte Cream does wonders. I can slick my hair back, but if I want to go for a more dry and textured look, I just need to run my fingers through my hair a few times and it'll retain the hold and my hair doesn't look stupidly messy. It has a vanilla scent and it's really soft and easy to scoop; it feels just like lotion. I was initially debating between getting this or Layrite Cement Matte Hair Clay, but I'm glad I got this. I never used that one either, but it seems like it's more focused on getting you strong hold while Natural Matte Cream is more focused on flexibility and light-ness. And to be honest, I was more drawn in by the packaging of this product than the Cement. It just looked cleaner and more professional. The packaging won't disappoint. That's a guarantee. Overall, if you want a matte look when styled, but don't want to worry about your hair falling apart when you mess it up with your hands a bit, Layrite Natural Matte Cream is great. It won't grease your hair up if that's what you're looking for, but it can function similar to a medium hold pomade, clay, or wax. Take your pick.

Great hold for my light wavy hair. I use it when I want a natural slicked back look, like slicked but not grassy or hardly slicked. It’s easy to get off from hair. Doesn’t cause buildup. Though be careful using it on thin areas as it could be harsh on them. And the smell is amazing!

Ho aspettato qualche giorno prima di rilasciare il feedback, provando la pomade e testandola nei giorni caldi di agosto. Premetto che ho provato quasi tutte le pomade migliori tra cui Reuzel e Despacito su tutte (che vanno rispettivamente al secondo e terzo posto della mia classifica personale). Il contenitore della pomade è molto bello esteticamente con il barattolo bianco, etichetta blu e tappo dorato. Quando l'ho aperto ho per prima cosa sentito la profumazione alla vaniglia, buono ma non forte e marcato come letto in altre recensioni.. Dopodiché ho passato il dito sulla pomade per prenderne una quantità pari a una nocciolina... Ho deciso di provare con poco e vedere che effetto ottenevo... Non appena l'ho passata sui capelli (media lunghezza, non corti ma nemmeno lunghi) ho notato subito la morbidezza e la possibilità di ripassare la pettinatura senza che la pomade si asciughi subito (cosa che compromette lo style). L'effetto matte è perfetto, così come la tenuta che nel mio caso dura 24 ore senza problemi (da sera a sera, messa prima di andare a letto). Non avevo mai provato una pomade così unica e speciale, perché permette anche di rimettere apposto il look durante la giornata se necessario, si lava via benissimo essendo a base d'acqua e non ingrassa cute e capelli. Dopo una settimana di utilizzo posso solo dire una cosa: MA PERCHÉ NON L'HO SCOPERTA PRIMA???? Complimenti Layrite, qualità ottima ad un prezzo equo!

Ich habe die Layrite Matte Pomade jetzt schon dreimal nachbestellt und kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich nicht mehr darauf verzichten möchte. Sie ist perfekt für den Alltag, verklebt nicht und lässt sich sehr gut auswaschen. Das Styling hält gut, bleibt dabei aber flexibel – Nachstylen ist problemlos möglich. Außerdem riecht die Pomade angenehm nach Vanille, was ich persönlich sehr mag. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein mattes, natürliches Styling suchen.
