Effective, robust
Applied to glass, not windscreen PPF. It does take a little effort to polish the substrate with the provided media (FYI this cannot be done from couch). Total application time was about 1.5 hrs to clean, polish, and apply two coats.Hydrophobicity is better than Rain-X. Slickness may be a little less than a fresh coat of Rain-X, but I don’t mind using the wipers.Have not encountered wiper chatter with this product.Seems to take the punishment of time (6 months thus far), outside storage (rain, UV exposure, temps from 40 F to 90 F have been experienced), abrasion from wiper blades, and 4 car washes. Wow, adding a note to self that I need to wash the car more often.Update 2/6/2024:Coating performance has fallen off after 36k and 9 months. Need to re-apply coating after first applying in April-2023, which included one summer and most of one cold season.

Not for beginners (+3 year update)
This coating does work - but only if you have some experience with coating application. Even if you follow the instruction steps perfectly, there is still a need for the slight of hand that only comes from experience. If you decide to try it, be mindful in timing the buff off perfectly. If you wait too long, it will be ruined. If you buff too early, it will be ruined. If you get it right, then this is one of the best window coatings on the market.Edit: I put a single application of this coating on one of my vehicles 3 years ago when I first wrote this review, and I have not applied anything to the glass ever since. The glass still has the coating present after 3 years, it has degraded partially over time, but the fact that it's still there is very impressive for a consumer product. Just keep in mind that the installation requires professional level application, don't even try it if you aren't experienced because you are almost guaranteed to screw it up; just look at all the negative reviews for this product and you will see what I mean

Junk. Buy rain-c instead
For the price this ain’t worth it at all. I used to use rain-x for all my cars and the water would bead up and spill right off. For the amount of work it took to put on was junk compared to anything else I used. Very disappointed in this purchase, if I could give it zero stars I would

Manage Expectations. Does a Good Job Repelling the Rain
I recently applied the GYEON View EVO Ceramic Coating to the windshield and glass surfaces of my vehicle, and here is my detailed review:Application Process:The application of GYEON View EVO was technically easy but did require some effort. Preparation is key for this product to work effectively. I used Invisible Glass glass stripper to prime the glass, ensuring all previous coatings and contaminants were thoroughly removed. This step is crucial for optimal adhesion of the ceramic coating.Performance:After applying the GYEON View EVO, I noticed a significant improvement in water repellency. The ceramic coating does an excellent job repelling rain and water, which beads up and rolls off the glass effortlessly. This feature is particularly beneficial during heavy rain, improving visibility and safety.Ease of Cleaning:One of the standout benefits of this product is how it makes cleaning the glass much easier. Dirt and grime do not stick to the surface as readily, and a quick wipe usually restores the glass to a clean state. However, it is essential to note that while it helps in maintaining cleaner glass, it is not a magic solution. Regular cleaning is still required to keep the glass sparkling.Durability:The coating seems durable, maintaining its water-repelling properties even after several weeks of use. It offers a layer of protection against environmental contaminants, which helps in preserving the clarity and cleanliness of the glass over time.Overall Satisfaction:I am pleased with the GYEON View EVO Ceramic Coating for Windshield and Glass. It delivers on its promise of improving water repellency and ease of cleaning. However, it's important to manage expectations—this product significantly aids in keeping the glass clean but does not entirely eliminate the need for regular maintenance. In summary, the GYEON View EVO is a worthwhile investment for those looking to enhance the performance of their vehicle's glass surfaces. It requires some effort to apply correctly, but the benefits in water repellency and ease of cleaning are well worth it. Four stars for its performance and practicality.

Not as good as other products
After reading the reviews & the marketing for this I decided to give it a try so I put it on my driver's side window only, as a test. To say I was thoroughly disappointed is an understatement. My other windows just have another brand ceramic glass polish & the water beading & shedding was very similar. Considering I paid more than twice as much for this & it can only do MAYBE 1 car's worth of glass & my other product has done 4 cars in my home many times over (as well as mirrors & shower doors in my home) & I still have more than 1/2 of a 24oz bottle, this is definitely not worth the expense or the prep. It supposedly lasts long so there's that but even taking my car out in the rain water didn't roll off any different than my other windows & nowhere near as good as my windshield, which has a professional ceramic coating.

Not worth the money. Stick to Rain-X.
Not worth the $40 bucks I paid. Saw a few reviews online and it was made out to be a stellar product. This has nothing on Rain-X. I've used three full sets across my three cars and unless you're traveling 70+ MPH WITH continuous rainfall, there is no expelling of water off the windshield.
