The GG-1000GB-1A is a battery-powered watch (not Tough Solar) with a Twin Sensor (compass and thermometer). The bezel has a similar design as the GWG-1000 but does not have a front-facing backlight button. The face has two LCD display areas and a prominent mode indicator dial and has a mineral glass display. Other features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, super auto LED light, neo-brite luminous hands, world time, 1/100 second stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms with snooze feature, button tone on/off, automatic calendar, 12/24 hour timekeeping, and 2-year battery life.

Would have given 5 stars if light would illuminate the digital display as well.

Day, date, timer and stop watch are difficult to see.
Watch looks good on the wrist. However the date and the day are not as bright as in the photo. Also the hour hand is pretty wide. This also obscures seeing the date and day. Both these issues combined make it very difficult when using the timer or the stop watch. I have owned and liked many Casio watches in the past but this is not the best. Color me disappointed.

FAKE CHINESE COPY! DONT BUY.
I just got my watch delivered and SHOCKED to see that it was not an original but a very poor Chinese copy of C grade that is not worth more than 20 dollars and I paid $200 for this scam.

G Shock
Received watch today, all functions seem to be working great. Watch is brand new, no scuff or scratch marks on the watch. Watch came in a G Shock metal canister that was placed in a G Shock box with manual. Price was very reasonable, very nice watch.
