Best purchase of the summer
Best purchase of the Summer! I bought this for my vacation to Greece and it’s been worth it’s weight! Easy and light enough to carry in a checked bag. Quality product that has done great with the windy Greek days. Compared to other brands this one stands out when it comes to quality. No instructions but it was possible to get it set up without them. Couldn’t be happier! It’s a must for international beach vacations and saved me so much money on beach beds!

Easy to set up and gives great coverage!
Brought this with me when I went to Oahu. It was easy to set up on the beach, but it was super windy and it fell over about an hour in. As the directions mentioned - if it's windy, take an extra step and dig holes. We dug holes and put the corner pockets inside them with sand and it was solid the rest off the time it was up. I really love the portability and compact size of this shade tent. It fits in a medium luggage great. You just have to make sure that everything else in the luggage will be lightweight because it's about 10 pounds and you can easily go over the weight limit. I highly recommend purchasing!

This is shade not shelter
Fairly easy to set up but you better have the "open" end into the wind then it works very well. The bags at the end of the ropes work well, fill them full and everything stays put. I used it with 25-30mph gust. Worked well and never fell down but a lot of people around me who did not set them to the wind struggled. The good design things are the poles - the bungees around the top that attach them to the shade and points that drive the poles into the sand were the difference. now the not so good things - one of the stake loops on the bag ripped off immediately, but with the bags filled to the brim, this was not an issue. The other issue is with the one open end it does not provide a lot area of shade when the sun is low - morning and late afternoon depending on which way the wind is blowing. I sit in a regular chair, not a low beach chair so there is not lot of room, I got the 10' thankfully. The pole design is good and could support another set of poles to raise the shade so more people could use the shade but when I contacted the manufacturer I was told they are not available - that's to bad. but it does work for two people. Another thing I wouldn't sit under it without sun screen - you can see shadows through the screen so that means UV rays are coming through too. Bottom line is for the price it is a lot better then an umbrella!

Works great but no instructions
I used this for the first time at the beach. I assumed it would be easy to assemble. After opening it, we realized there were no instructions. We Gerry rigged it in a way to get it up and working but it definitely was not the way it was supposed to be set up. It stayed sturdy with some moerate to medium wind though and worked for it'ls purpose. I give it 5 stars for working well once setup but definitely watch the video on here on how to set it up first before using it.

Ok but a bit of a hassle
This looks like it could be functional but we live in a place where it was windy and it kept blowing on to people as they were sitting under it. it's also not super hard to put up but also not super easy and the sandbag function takes up quite a bit of space. Looking again....
