Cadet Combo Waterskis

My 6 year olds learned how to water ski on these this summer. We used a regular ski rope from the boat (because they’ll have to use that eventually). But, these were great for them and they were able to stand in a couple of tries.

They seem nice and good value but we had 9 yr old male that couldn’t control in water and didn’t get up. May have just been him.

Easy to use and kids got up immediately.

The good: it worked as it was supposed to and got all 3 of my little kids (as young as 6) up last year. The triangle rope concept is genius. The bad: this year my oldest is near the weight limit of 80 lbs and snapped the rope first try getting up. I had 3 kids and 3-day weekend at the lake planned, but after that the younger ones could not get up using a regular rope (without the triangle). I wish I could request the manufacturer just send me a new rope! But I am not able to contact them.

My 8-year old loved them and skiied all summer! He really enjoyed learning to get up with them attached and soon progressed to detached skies.

Actual skiis are great but the flimsy rope and plastic clips are junk. The rope shredded and the plastic clip snapped in its first two uses scaring the kids who were just learning how to ski. Plus there is no option to get ahold of seller!!

Great skis to get our 4 year old started at the end of the season. He was able to get up out of a deep water start with my help on his 3rd try. They helped pop him out of the water quickly. When practicing on a beach running along the shallow water, the skis would pop up through a foot of water and plane out. 4 stars as the rope adjustment at the skis could be better along with instructions on how to best place the triangle of rope. It took a bit of time on land to get it fitted just right, and then needed an adjustment once in the water which wasn't the easiest to accomplish. The metal piece that adjusts the length of rope has hard edges which I noticed frayed a couple strands of the ski rope. If this piece was a bit easier to adjust and not abrasive to the rope, I'd give it 5 stars. I bought these skis as the rope system pulls on the handle as well as the skis when getting up versus other brands that just have the handle attached to the ski trainer and the boat pulls the skis only. The handles are of standard construction. The bindings are adjustable enough to probably fit the feet of an 80# kid yet small enough to fit our 30# 3yr old (didn't try in the water this year) The trainer bar is easily removed and seemed secure for all the pulls through the water and practice sessions on the grass. Great colors for our kids who are into Disney's "Planes" Dusty Crophopper.

I bought these skiis and have hauled kids from 4-10 years of age with great success. Thrilled with the results. I highly recommend.

Had to make some adjustments to the handle to fit my son but he got right up first try!

Fantastic set of skis. Wish they came with more instructions on how to use them and proper techniques of getting kids up. We found some youtube videos that helped and now our 7 year old is a great water skiier!

These skis are a little wider than others we have tried and they seem to help with stability for the kids.

Good quality. Double handle rope must be only be for very small children.
