DETOMASO Men's SL1592C-BK-B GENOVA Chronograph Classic Schwarz/Schwarz Analog Display Japanese Quartz Black Watch

I grew up in the seaport of Genova, Italy, so when I stumbled on this DeTomaso watch, model “Genova,” it seemed eminently appropriate for me to consider adding it to my collection of mostly inexpensive but stylish watches. The overall appearance of the watch is striking, though there are a few notable nitpicks. The face is both smaller than it appears to be in the photos (nitpick) and perhaps shinier due to the reflective quality of the thick hands and hour indicators (nitpick). There are no numbers, but the DeTomaso logo — a shield bearing the gothic capital T — replaces the 12 at the midnight/noon position. The second hand is a narrow javelin and highly visible in red, with the T shield as counterbalance. The markers at the 3, 6, and 9 positions are twice as wide, more like rectangles rather than slashes. I like that “Genova” is bannered below the 12 position and the manufacturer name, but slightly larger. The subdials are also at the 3, 6, and 9 positions and operate as they should. The recessed crown, however, is too recessed and hard to open to its two positions (nitpick). The pushers are just fine, though. The bezel rotates with a smooth, solid click. The leather band is sharp with black on the outside and red on the inside, though (nitpick) I probably would have preferred the external stitching to be red rather than white. The black buckle reprises the logo shield, which is etched in. The Seiko movement (as claimed) seems to keep great time, and out of many watches this is one that has not slipped the day (my Timex field chrono is another) yet, so I think it is a good timepiece as well as a stylish arm accessory. The red and black highlights give it a "rally" kind of feel. My nitpicks make me drop a star, but if you're not bothered by the smaller than expected footprint of the face, it's a good investment. Nice box, too, if that matters. I have bought stylish-looking watches that do not keep good time — this is not one of those. While it is not "perfect," it's a rather nice watch for the price. Doesn't look as good in person as it does in pics

Uhr trägt sich sehr angenehm. Die Genauigkeit ist leider nach ein paar Tagen nicht der Brüller und man muss nachstellen. Leider "bröckelt" auch das Armband relativ schnell, was die Uhr im Ganzen dann leider sehr schnell unansehnlich macht

Devo confessare che non conoscevo questa marca di orologi. Ho acquistato questo modello che richiama il nome della città dove vivo e direi che sono rimasto sorpreso positivamente. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è davvero la sua carta vincente.

Soweit eine schöne Uhr. Gut verarbeitet und leicht. Was mich etwas stört ist, dass der Sekundenzeiger noch genau eingepasst ist. Passt nicht genau aufs Ziffernblatt. Fehler ist minimal aber auch leicht störend. Habe die Uhr gekauft, weil ich dieses Uhrwerk in einer Breil habe. Dort ist es genauer verbaut.

Das Design ist super.Allerdings wenn man die Uhr in der Hand hält wirkt sie eher wie Uhren aus dem Billig Segment. Sehr leicht......Metallband klappert.Ich hatte mir wegen dem Namen etwas mehr erwartet.Wenn ich diese Uhr mit "Fossil oder Diesel" vergleiche...........Entscheide ich mich eher zu Fossil oder Diesel!

Mein Mann ist total begeistert. Sie ist Qualitativ hochwertig und für den Preis ein echtes Schnäppchen. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.
