There's nothing wrong with this window, and I might buy it again if I needed one (although I might try to find a better one first). The reason I gave it only 3 stars is that I don't think it is well manufactured. The inner ring that holds the window in place is flimsy. It attaches to the window with tiny self-drilling screws. My primary complaint about the window is where the screws fit on the window. When the inner ring is placed over the frame of the window, a small groove that runs around the frame is sort of half revealed and half concealed by the inner ring. You can't avoid the groove with the screws (which are not long enough to reach the bottom of the groove) and you can't really hit it, either. The screws fall on the shoulder of the groove, going half in and half out of the groove. This problem was more pronounced on one of the two windows I bought than it was on the other, indicating that the manufacturing of the windows was inconsistent. On one window, almost all the screws fit outside the groove and had good purchase on the window frame. On the other, all the screws were perched precariously on the shoulder of the groove. It was annoying and made the window difficult to install. I've been living in an RV for 7 years and I am all too familiar with the band-aids-and-bailing-twine nature of a lot of RV construction, so I wasn't terribly surprised that the windows were poorly manufactured and I am not certain that a different brand of window would have been superior. However, if you're going to make a flimsy window the least you can do is make it installable, please. For instance, instead of providing 1/8 inch self-drilling screws, pre-drill the holes in the window so the screws can be inserted in places that will actually hold the window in place. Of course, then the inner ring would actually have to fit properly, so that might increase costs...Anyway, from a consumer's perspective, I would check out a different window to see if you can do better before buying this one.

Looks great, curious to know why it has a handle to open the window on the inside and outside. It's high on my RV and too small for access. I wonder if it's a second.

Nice windows, directions are awful. The windows are quality and there are other instructions online from various manufacturers to help with understanding installation.
