Norestar Galvanized Steel CQR/Plow Boat Anchor

Description

This Norestar Galvanized Hinged Plow Boat Anchor is modeled after the original CQR anchor patented in 1933, a commonly used and trusted anchor among bluewater boaters for over 70 years. This anchor features a hinged shank  that offers 140 degrees of movement, which keeps the anchor secure even with wind or tide changes. There is also a  trip line attachment point to assist with breakout. Plow Boat Anchors work well in mud, grass, and rock bottoms. Note that Plow Anchors need to be heavier at the low-end (a 26' boat requires a 26 lb Plow), but in the medium and higher end the weight and performance is similar to other anchors.
