Not certain. considering I don't own a Nano 8th Generation. If you expand on the picture, you will see that is measures 4.6 inches long X 2.7 inches wide X 1.5 inches high. It appears that there would by ample room for cords, earphones, etc. I just am not certain if the devise will fit. Measure and go from there.
