1 1/2 to 2 oz of Orange Oil 
1 to 2 oz of Ajax lemon dish washing liquid 
in slightly less than 1 gal of water (prevent over flow) 
How to make measurements for your bottle:

Keep a bottle designated for your Ant Drench. It makes it easier to refill the bottle while you are working if you make marks for the bottle and just fill to your marks. I like to take a gallon bottle and fill it to about 1 ½ to 2 inches from the top of the bottle. This gives you room to shake the mixture thoroughly. I then use a measuring cup and a large sharpie marker to make my measuring marks ON the plastic bottle.

Mark your water level at the top. I then pour 1 ½ to 2 oz of water into the measuring cup and make another mark and label it OJ for orange oil. Label it how you wish. I then pour out another 2 oz of water into the measuring cup. I mark that level and label it DL for dishwashing liquid. Below that line I write water.

I then fill with the other ingredients to their respective lines and shake well. I use a stiff stick to knock a hole into the ant mound. Usually, I poke around a bit until I find the deep tunnel then pour and run. Secure kids and pets during treatments. This stuff foams a lot so when you want to refill, I would put some water in and rinse it a bit, pour over a previous pour then add water and top off. I hope this helps! Remember, if you pour this too close to plants it might cause the plants trouble.

D-limonene definitely works for fleas! They hate citrus.

Our poms are double-coated and we ended up with an infestation after they got summer short-cuts, which unfortunately exposed their skin to be more easily infested. We discovered a neighbor's infested "outdoor" cat was spending lots of time in the area of our backyard that our dogs prefer, so we're guessing that is how they contracted the fleas.

Anyhow, I made a spray of ~5% d-limonene and 5% permethrin, and used it on the dogs as a flea dip.
Then I made a 10% d-limonene + 10% permethrin mix to spray all our carpets, the soft furniture, beds and linens (plus washed them, obviously), dog beds, etc. I also added a bit more permethrin to the spray for a yard drench.

Knocked the fleas out in just a few days! Plus everything smelled like oranges. :)
