Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 4 - Pursuit Walking Shoe

bought these for my elderly mother. She loves them. I made the mistake of thinking they were slip ins and they are not.

These are literally one of the 10+ pairs of Skechers I've ordered this year. I returned every single one so far but these I WILL keep, hooray LOL. These are ALMOST perfect because everything is great about these shoes besides the fact that (if you have big feet, like me a normal size 10) you have to size up. SIZE UP!I had to order a Size 11 (from my normal size 10 feet) and these feet perfectly. I said these are "almost" perfect because I would like my shoe to read a size 10, since I am a size 10 (in every other shoe in my closet), but not in these or MOSTLY any Skechers brand shoe. It still gets 5 stars because I'm happy it has everything else I wanted.... FINALLY Skechers!RUBBER SOLES?Yes, the entire bottom of the shoe is rubber. These definitely are slip-resistant, unlike other shoes Skechers makes these truly have a solid grip. It's not like the cheaper soles that Skechers makes (even the ones that look similar).INSOLE & ARCH SUPPORT?Yes, this shoe has arch support. It's not too high or too low, it's perfect for someone that has a natural curve in their foot. It's also bouncy so it's a shock absorber as you walk to lessen the impact.UPPER MATERIAL?These are the best designed Skechers slip-on shoes. Now you DO have to wiggly into these shoes, as the upper sole is a snug fit. But the material is stretchy enough that you don't feet restricted AND you can wear your thick (or thin) socks with this without any issues. It's a little inconvenience that you have to wiggy your foot in but if the opening was wider, the shoe wouldn't have fit as perfectly on my foot. Since it doesn't mark my foot up (don't dig into the foot), or suffocate it (my foot still has room to breathe), I don't mind the little wiggle to get into them LOL. This is also good because you can run in these and know they won't fall off (good for safety).ALL BLACK?Yes, everything is all black. No greys or odd color stitching, it's black.OVERALLI bought these at $70 and although the price is more than other styles Skechers offer. However, those shoes don't have the same quality/perks as these shoes (so this is worth the price). I've over 10+ pair of Skechers and there was ALWAYS something wrong with them. To the rubber sole not being real rubber, tight toes, too much insole padding, I can go on (check out my other reviews on my profile by clicking my name) but these shoes don't have those issues. I seriously wanted the other shoes to work, for the better price, but simply these are the better ones.The ONLY flaw is the back of the shoe (where your ankle is) is a bit high. So that part may be annoying rubbing the back of your ankle/heel a little, which is not noticeable with socks on. That's minor compared to the issues with the other shoes I've ordered from Skechers... believe me. I would recommend you try this to see what I'm talking about, I have no regrets. I’ve been buying sketchers for the past 5/6 years and I haven’t been able to find anything that is more comfortable. They are not the most beautiful shoes out there, but I can tell you that I don’t know what they do. They are amazing. They hold your feet together so comfortable. I have a lot of leg pain and my daughter as well and we both only wear sketchers now my husband I’ve been buying for him like for the past two years and he does not want his other Nike shoes so I just probably going to give them to Goodwill or something. He does not want to wear anything else but Sketchers Love this brand.

I am trying a number of different shoes now that I am dealing with plantar fasciitis and these are one of the best for everyday wear that I have experienced. I wear a size 7 med. and they have room in the toe box and the length is fine especially with the soft fabric. They look nice and fit in the heel and arch giving me relief from the heel pain I experience now. I do plan to order a pair in another color.

Decently comfortable so far, and they look good, however they are strictly indoor shoes. No arch support, whatsoever. Thin soles. Big gaps in the bottom of the shoes trap rocks, so you cannot comfortably wear them outdoors, except on smooth pavement.

I will update again after wearing these for at least a month.I have been waiting years to be able to have a pair of Skechers, but they didn’t make any of their shoes in wide widths. My whole family has wide feet for some reason. (It’s actually more common than people would think). Recently I was window shopping on Amazon, I did a search since my dad wanted a pair as well for his 80th birthday. He wears a Double-Wide, and I found a gorgeous pair of Skechers for him and he is as thrilled with his as I am with mine.So, Low and behold they have Standard to Triple Wide widths now! (The sizing system for shoes on Amazon is strange. I purchased these in a Standard Wide, or a C-D. I got lucky, because many of their shoes are a standard size, or what they show as (D)M. For my dad, I ordered a Double-Wide, or 2E. Both are perfect).These are very well made sneakers. First: looks. I purchased the charcoal/white in a size 8-Wide. The white part of the shoe is the outer sole. I believe there is a black on black sole available. It’s a gorgeous, sleek, well thought out shoe. The upper is cloth: not flimsy at all, but not at all stiff. Smooth material over the top of the foot, and a very pleasant, subtle pattern around the shoe. It is reinforced at the front, front-sides, and the heal. The wihite outer sole has a charcoal stripe (see photos) above a honeycomb pattern. It all fits perfectly together, and I haven’t gotten to the inside. There’s a Skechers “S” on the front and side of both shoes.Inside: The insoles are NOT removable. If you don’t wear socks, and wear these a lot, I would recommend getting a pack of those “cut to size” inner soles from the drugstore. I use them so I don’t get sweaty in there and to keep the insole clean. There is a fun, colorful pattern on the insoles that I believe is unique to Skechers.Fit: PERFECT! Better than I’d expected! These fit perfectly. They have just enough wiggle room without the heal slipping off. And ankle socks could be worn, but not thick socks. These shoes feel as if I’m walking on a cloud and getting a foot massage at the same time. The shoes are uber comfortable while feeling very solid. I have serious back issues, and these are absolutely fantastic sneakers hands down. I will update in a month or so regarding how they are holding up. These shoes can be dressed up or down, but not with a ball gown! They ARE sneakers; they are easy to put on; and look and feel very well made. My father and I couldn’t be more thrilled with our Skechers, except when I buy my next pair. I already have them picked out.
