This has a built-in washer or gasket thing, and fits the old Magic Bullets. The little ones where you push it down for less than 5 seconds each time. Voila, I can use it again. Saved myself a lot of money by getting this. I would say to put a bit of edible oil on the gasket/washer, all around the edge, and also try to get a drop on the shaft of the blade assembly, just my personal opinion, and ALWAYS dry blades down, AND check to make sure it is spinning freely before using or it will shear off the bottom just as what happened to the original part I was trying to use.

fits perfect, so far it has worked without any issues. Will have to see how it behaves with time.

My really old Magic Bullet still works but the original blade doesn't really want to grind the ice anymore. There's always a big chunk left. I considered just junking it and finally investing in that Vitamix, but thought I would try finding a replacement. I was really surprised to find this replacement exists. So, I decided it made more sense to see if this fix for under $7 would work. It totally did! I found it fit perfectly on my cups, did not leak, and it locked on my unit perfectly. That protein smoothie was actually smooth! The gasket came out when I washed it, but easily went back in its spot and did not leak upon next use either. Really happy with this item. That Vitamix can wait a little longer.

It’s been just a couple of days and it’s been working well so far. I gave it four stars because the material appears to be different from the original one that lasted for years. I’m unable to comment on the longevity of the part.

Works well but really doesn't chop up ice very well, but does puree nicely.
