The shower head arrived on time and I was pleasantly surprised at how well built it is. The whole thing is metal and very nicely machined, very simple design so everything fits together well without being over complicated. It was very easy to install. I was a little worried that I would not like the feel or the spray because of the size of the holes in the face of the shower head. I figured either the spray would be very low pressure and there wouldn't be enough water coming out or the water would come out like needles on the skin. Fortunately, there was a lot of water pressure coming out of the jets but it is very gentle on the skin. i was surprised at the amount of water that was coming out of the shower head without having it feel like I was taking a shower with a pressure washer. Overall this is a great shower head, the fact that it filters the water as well is a bonus. I have already ordered a second one for my son's bathroom.

This shower head is excellent! I have hard water in my apartment which dries out my skin and hair. After using this shower head, my skin and hair were soft for the first time since I moved here. The only problem is that the water squirts out on an angle and I was unable to adjust it to make the water squirt down directly. This made it difficult to rinse off thoroughly. This would not be an issue if my shower weren't so small but since my shower is a lot smaller than the average one, it doesn't work for me. I was thinking about getting it for my next apartment (when I have a bigger shower area) but decided to give it to my parents instead. They like it. Although it didn't work for my current situation, I still highly recommend this shower head. I would purchase it in the future for the following reasons: the water pressure is great, it filtered the hard water feel well & made my skin & hair much softer & the customer service at Barclay's Buys is fantastic! I would definitely buy from them again. Highly recommended!

I was in search of an economical spa like filtered shower head of decent quality. When I had come across this one I was a little concerned about the water pressure maybe being decreased with use. But after reading many wonderful comments I decided to give it a try anyway. Let me tell you I'm beyond happy that I did, because this filtered shower head is awesome. Not only is it beautiful, but it was super easy to install, the filter does its job well, my water pressure was actually amplified, and the water feels amazing on my skin ! I actually don't want to get out of the shower now lolDefinitely worth every penny !

Bought this as an upgrade to several other shower filters I've tried, all of which reduce pressure substantially. Our city water is slightly hard, has a bit of red iron, and a terrible chlorine smell. This shower head handles all that and without reducing the pressure.The shower head is all metal, well-made, and heavy, though a bit smaller than I figured. The internal filter unit itself installs easily though it doesn't seat like other filters, so don't expect that. The filter pad fits over top of it, between the shower face and filter unit. The only issue I had was getting the face screwed back onto the housing. The threads are very thin and tight, so it took about 10 minutes to get everything oriented correctly and screwed on. I added teflon tape on all other threads and removed the inlet screen washer since I already have a house filter and don't want the pressure reduced. The instructions don't specify use of pipe dope or teflon tape, which may be why others have reported some joint leaks. I had no such problems at all.The quality of the shower is excellent. The numerous tiny holes all over the face of the shower head give a feathery stream but which is 100% water, as this unit does not aerate. It's at least 3gpm with my city water...it's drenching. That said, if you're looking for a shower head that pounds your neck from three fat streams in the middle of the head, this is not the one for you! This is a drenching head, which packs a solid pressure punch, just distributed across the full face of the head. This is a great product, superior to the other national brand filters I've used. They all filter, but the others reduce pressure dramatically; this one does not, and the chlorine smell is completely gone, plus no itch and no water spots!Others have noted that the shower head will drip after the shower is off. This is NOT a leak, but is the effect of the filter using a pad just behind the face to both filter and distribute water to the full face. I find it easy enough to give a 1 second squeeze to the face to push out water from the pad. This shortens the residual drip to just a minute.

This shower head is amazing! It literally feels like a massage under the rain. The water does come out strong, but feels heavenly! I can actually get out of the shower more quickly (although I don't want to!) as my hair & skin is rinsed off FAST! My skin feels & looks better already; I used to come out of the shower and my skin would be dry, itchy, & flaky. I'd say it is 80% better just after a few showers; actually, I noticed it after the first shower. I do live in middle TN where in the summer it is hot and humid. The TRUE test will come this winter when my skin becomes rashy, really dry & intensely itchy Hopeful! My only regret is that I did not find this shower head a LONG time ago!
