Lemon or just poor quality...
When I received my pair of boogie regulators I was really excited. They were small, lightweight and had amazing field of view! They weren't entirely comfortable with the included rubber strap. I had to loosen it a bunch and I don't even have that big of a head. The goggles themselves felt like they were slightly crooked on my face as well, but I put that aside and thought no big deal the foam probably just needs worn in a bit.Upon playing with them the first time I realized they were not as good as I had expected. The temperature outside was roughly 50 degrees and the lens was fogging very frequently. This wasn't the bad part though, the foam around the lens started to separate after just a few hours of play!!! At this point you are probably thinking, well he just got a bad pair... My friend also had a brand new pair that he was trying out for the first time and had the SAME ISSUES!!! Not only did his fog, the foam also separated after just a few hours!!Save your money and buy some other goggles! My friend and I are returning our pairs.Pro's: They are small, they are light, field of view is great, and look cool.Con's: 2 pairs that were both new had foam separate from lens within hours of use and both pair fogged in 50 degree weather.

Terrific At What It Does
This item must excel at what I understand it was designed for. That is, military HALO jumps. They will also work well as motorcycle goggles, parasailing, hang gliding, ATV'ing. Any activity where you need eye protection and keep moving forward is just made for this guy. That motion thing is the important part. You need that to keep air circulating through the holes in the lens so as to avoid fogging of the lens. I was shown this item at an Airsoft store and told they were wonderful for Airsofting. They certainly looked the part, with a thick, tough-looking lens and big air holes and the fact that they were sold out except for the display gave me the idea they must be very popular. I think the salesman must play a lot of Rush-style games, though, where he's running forward because when my son put the goggles on to play they fogged up pretty quickly. He'd stop to reload or start sniping and they'd fog right up.I have found that all it takes is the act of walking briskly forward to keep them clear so I don't fault the design. I even wore them on a long bicycle ride to see how they reacted to the wearer being REALLY hot and sweaty. Great during the ride but they fogged immediately when I stopped.Long story short: great product, don't wear for Airsoft. It's a good thing I have a motorcycle so I can get some use out of them. Heck, I may get the smoke lens next time I need daytime goggles, they're so good.Addendum: Changed to five stars. I gave it four stars but, really, it's a five star item that I bought for the wrong purpose and I really shouldn't blame Smith Optics for that.

Boogie regulator, well done, well prices, great product
I purchased the boogie regulator in conjunction for airsoft. I've tried just about every type of lenses/glasses to combat fogging, and the boogie regulator hold up pretty well. Just like any goggle though, its not 100% antifog. IT WILL FOG UP if you get hot enough and in the right conditions, so dont be suprised. But this can be fought pretty easily by using antifog wipes, and a bandanna to keep sweat from dripping down. They're very comfortable, and look great with A fast attack style helmet. I've took a few shots to the face and the regulators have held up just as described. I couldnt be more happy with them. If you can get over the fact that they still fog a little bit, but overall stay clear, then this is the product for you. Very well done Smith Ops.

So Far So Good
I purchased these back in March when there was a shortage apparently because it took 3 months waiting on back order to receive them.! Purchased them for cold weather mountain biking but now it's much warmer out so cant test them in the cold yet.! Works good otherwise .I put up a number of photos and some other info herehttp://nosetothewind.com/2013/06/23/review-smith-optics-elite-boogie-regulator-goggle/
