Dirt if all the author did a great job of illustrating the places the characters went. I liked this because it made me able to better create pictures even iMovies in my mind. The second reason I liked this book was because it was so unique. The characters were so different and unique in their own way. The last reason why I liked this book was that I loved to see the characters develop relationships with other characters. My favorite example was the relationship between Luke and Mrs. Falala. I loved how their relation ship grew and grew throughout the story. However I thought that the story was missing some things. I thought that the first thing that was missing was a second book. I think and other readers probably want to know what happens to Reena and Luke after Mrs. Falala passes away. Will they meet new people? Will Reena form a new relationship with and Beet? I thought that overall Moo is an amazing book for children to read. 10/10 Review: What a wonderful, loving - What a delightful little book is MOO! What a wonderful, loving, poignant, and poetic writer is Sharon Creech! I'm going to resist all of the MOO words, and say that I simply loved the book. This is a book that begs to be read aloud on someone's sofa with a child on each side. Please read it slooowwly and savor each page. By all means discuss the beauty of each precious page. I finished this must-read book 3 days ago, and I couldn't write anything until now! I am amazed at the talent of Sharon Creech from Love That Dog, and Hate That Cat to this rare jewel...MOO! Wow! Sharon, I am an even bigger fan than I always have been. The way you have artistically placed the word on the page practically tells me How to read this book. Congratulations! You have just won the McKenna Award this year! I know, it's not as prestigious as the others, but this is heartfelt, and you know all about awards. Thank you for all of your writing. It keeps me working and reading. If you keep writing..I'll keep reading!! I LOVE MOO!

My granddaughter loves this book. ❤️
I gave this book to my granddaughter for her birthday and she was so glad that I did. She loves to read books that are written in verse. The book was in excellent condition whe.n it arrived.

Captivating story and promotes reading progression
I must admit I have not read this book. My local library sent an email announcement about this book as something my 8 year old son might enjoy. I put a copy on hold and got one of the first copies to arrive. To say my son loved this book is putting it lightly. While he is a regular reader, this book lit a fire in him. He loved that he finished a "thick chapter book" and attributes his success (and willingness to even try to read such a "thick" book) to the short chapters. He said he hates stopping in the middle of a chapter and felt a great sense of accomplishment when he could finish a chapter-or two or three-in a sitting. He could not wait to read it after school, before bed, in the car. This book really kept him captivated. He like it so much he begged me to buy the book, which I did....He'll find out Christmas morning.

Mooo-ving Story & Characters!
Sharon Creech fans will not be disappointed in this humorous & "moo-ving" story. Creech is a masterful & lyrical writer that tells the story of a family's move to Maine. They must overcome new challenges such as adapting to small town life & training of an ornery cow. Perfect middle grade read for fans of Love that Dog! I did find the story a little long & was thankful for the white-space to help break up the story!

Wonderful book for any third to fourth grader
A must read for any child that goes past a pasture of cows in their neighborhood. A sure read for any kid on a farm, and any 4H member. The ending is so well written and the ending dealing with death is part of any farm child's life. Wonderful book for any third to fourth grader. I also as an adult laughed at the animals and the children as they learned to get along together. GK

For young adults, but definitely good for all ages.
I loved this book. I was required to read it for a class I'm taking this summer, but it was interesting, I would have read it regardless. Makes me want to go get a Belted Galloway, name it Zora and show her at the fair!

Another fantastic novel by Sharon Creech. I teach Grade 4 and I am using this book as a read aloud and an introduction to poetry. The combination of verse and prose in this heartwarming story keeps the attention of the young readers and is a great teaching tool for poetic devices and figurative language. If you enjoyed Love That Dog or Hate That Cat (favourites of my students!) you will definitely enjoy Moo!

This book made me happy. Just the innocence of the kids, the sillyness of the cows, and the serious morals. It was funny and adorable and perfect for my plane ride home! Highly recommend if you want something quick and easy but a tad silly!
