I have been using this for quite some time now and am so impressed with the quality. The battery life is great, super easy to use and clean. The company was very helpful, first one shipped came in a damaged box with scratches on it and no questions asked. They just shipped me a replacement. Thank You!!!

When I purchased this six months ago, I really didn't know what to expect. Well, I guess I needn't have worried. It does what it says it would, and I enjoy using it. It's neither a necessity nor a luxury. It's just fun to have and use. (I use it in my bathroom, and I live alone, so it doesn't get heavy use.)The only design flaw that I can detect is that when it comes to replacing the batteries--which I haven't had to do yet, I think it's going to be a bit awkward, as the battery compartment is on the bottom of the unit. This means that it will have to be lifted or tipped up so that the compartment can be accessed, and I'm not sure if this can be done elegantly. One thing I know for sure: Don't forget to turn the unit off before messing with it!

This soap dispenser works well. This is my second one. The first lasted for several years and did a good job so when it dispensed its last drop I ordered another. The only down side is , it's a little noisy but again it works well.

This convenient and sleek little gadget worked flawlessly in my kitchen for about five months, until suddenly, the soap ceased to come out. It made noise like it was trying to dispense soap, but only a couple of tiny bubbly drops would come out. I tried clearing the nozzle thinking it might be clogged, but no improvement. Then I opened the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit, thinking I’d try changing the batteries, and the compartment was full of soap. I don’t know why it won’t dispense, but apparently there is a leak between the soap container and battery compartment because soap is continuing to ooze out the bottom. Really disappointing because I really loved it while it worked. Not worth the money for a lifespan less than six months.

I was originally going to return this automatic soap dispenser but decided to give it some time, thinking it required some getting used to. After using it a solid month, I can say, "it's okay." It requires some getting used to.My last dispenser would stop dispensing soap after your hand was removed. This thing continues for maybe a second after your hand is removed, dispensing soap on the counter or sink. I hate that and feel like it's wasting soap. That being said, I do like that it's able to sense when I put a pot under the dispenser to get a squirt of soap into a pot.The sleek design is nice and I like that it's got a clear base so I can see the soap level. I've been using Dawn dish soap with a tiny bit of water mixed in, and so far I haven't had any "gunking" issues. Then again, I sometimes run the sponge along the spout to remove any soap residue that might be there.Overall, I like the convenience of not touching anything to dispense soap and would buy it again. It just takes some getting used to with the way the sensors work. (Also to note: we use rechargeable batteries, which can save money in that department.)

I bought one for myself over a year ago to see how it worked. I’ve had bad luck with these ever since Simplehuman discontinued the only one that ever worked. Well it was great, so not only did I buy another, but I bought one for my mom! Over a year later I got super annoyed because it started working sporadically, and I complained to my mom that yet another soap dispenser that doesn’t last. But I liked it so much that I decided to replace it with the same thing. It arrived fast and at the last minute I decided to do what I should have done in the first place, and I changed the batteries. Ugh. Welp… now I have 3! Lol. And don’t worry, I corrected my comment to my mother by saying “the apple doesn’t fall far”. Lets just say, the cable company got an earful from her until they said, just try changing the batteries in your remote. Lets just see what happens. Lol. Her problem was solved Ok, despite these comments, we really are an intelligent family! Great product! If you think it’s failing, just change the batteries first before jumping to any conclusion! I’m about to gift my 3rd one since I don’t need that many, so now I’ll add, it’s also an affordable gift! :)

Sometimes it will just stop working even if I change the batteries etc and then it will start back but overall I guess it’s okay. :/
