Excellent optic.
Bought it because is was cheap and thought it would be fun if nothing else. My expectations were tempered but when I opened the box I was impressed with the robust build of the mono, heavy duty dust caps, felt good and solid in my hand. Focus wheel works well with gloves on. As for the optical quality of this mono I was completely blown away. I've been around high quality big name optics and I would put this mono up there with them. Very clear, great in low light. I have used them snowshoeing in the Rockies, a week at the beach and they are great for star gazing. Get one before they get hot and the price goes up.

A nice value package that works with my phone, and got the job done.
I got this monocular package for a few days and test it intensively. Got a pretty satisfactory result. For the price, I didn't have a very high expectation first. The monocular itself is pretty well build. Strong and lightweight, not flimsy at all. The optic got an ed coating but doesn't look multicoated. The image is a pretty shape at the center, but some fall off at the edge, but no visible vignette (darker edge). The 50mm give you a good brightness. The shortfall for this monocular is getting a flat contract, as a result, lowers the saturation in color. This is expected for a lower price optical product due to coating. Other than that it got a pretty nice image. Check out the raw image that I shot with my iPhone at 2x to 3x magnification. The phone adaptor is pretty easy to install. usually take me just two minutes to set up. The little tripod that comes with the package is a bit too small. It works ok with the monocular carefully. and work ok with the phone alone. Somehow it is not balanced while you use the phone attached with the monocular. The cleaning cloth and the stripe is a plus for the value.Overall this package got the job done. Good for beginners or kids who want to take some telephoto images without breaking their bank. For anything under $100 may have the same results, but I am glad that I got it at a better price. This package is really good value and has good results.

Ok quality.
These are not high grade, crystal clear optics but you get what you pay for. This monocular serves my purposes and I'd buy them again.

2yrs & going strong
Coming up on 2 years ownership of this monocular and no problems.I take it everywhere, up in the Appalachian mountains, down the shore, and locally. It's conveniently compact enough to never be a burden. I sit in the yard watching the planes, the birds, and even look at the Moon.. has a crystal clear quick easy focus.

Great zoom capability; Focus has stopped working
I got this monocular so that I could put it in my pocket easily when I go down to my local creek, to remove invasive plants and animals. It’s much easier than carrying a pair of binoculars. I also really enjoyed using the included tripod mount and adapter, in order to take photos and video of a local Redtail hawks nest. It’s traveled all over the world with me, but unfortunately, the focus knob is no longer working. Hoping to can get some support from the company, though I bought it two years ago.

Works great
I've only used this a couple times, but the optics seem clear/crisp. Makes a great spotting scope - one eye "zoomed in", the other unaided for a wide view, allows you to lock on to moving targets - birds, etc.Yes, getting the thing mounted up to your camera is a bit finicky, but with a bit of practice, it works great. Just be prepared for a long-distance pic-taking session. Your not going to see something that is alive/moving, then decide to use this thing on your smart phone camera, and expect it to still be there. But still, just play with it a bit, you'll get a little process down, and it isn't too bad.Overall, quite happy with the price/performance ratio.
