Works Great! Cost effective smart button
Reading other reviews I was skeptical of the quality of this item. Below I will outline some things I noted when reading other reviews and my experience of them:- Compatibility with dual band routers - The smart hub connected to my TP-Link dual band router with no issues. My guess is some dual band routers could cause issues, but this wasn't the case for me.- Button falls asleep after 8 or so hours - I haven't found that the button 'goes to sleep' after any period of time. The only issue I have had is my router restarted and the button lost its connection to the hub. To resolve this, it is recommended that you reserve the IP for the smart hub on your router (look up IP Reservation). This resolved the issue and my button hasn't had any issues since.- Button is only a single click, no support for double or long presses. This is true, although not an issue for me as I am using IFTTT integration which has options to toggle devices on/off. I could see this being an issue if you cannot do this, so you would have to use 2 buttons to program on and off. This smart button is great. It is inexpensive given other devices on the market, some which require smart hubs sold seperately (which usually cost well above £30 on their own!), so I'm very happy with the price. The IFTTT integration is just what I was looking for, allowing me to turn on/off smart plugs, bulbs and led strips without adding them in the Broadlink app. Just link your Broadlink account to IFTTT and create automations.Customer service was prompt, when I had a question they answered in less than 24 hours. They would be able to respond to any questions or issues you may have.Having the button be battery powered (3 x AAA included) is great as I don't need to worry about wiring it up and allows me to either move it around or mount it with the included mounting equipment anywhere I choose. The smart hub is powered with a micro-b cable (included) and really is very small! I can't imagine it draws very much power at all. It creates its own 2.4ghz WiFi network (SYNC_AP) that the smart button connects to, meaning the button's range is very good. The included stickers are a nice touch, allowing you to label the buttons with the automations you have selected. The only improvement I would suggest is allowing double press actions and long presses, but this isn't an issue for me as I purchased this button knowing this functionality was not present.Overall, for less than £30, this is a great option when looking for a simple smart button.

Easy to set up, provides button control of routines
It works well, providing good flexibility through Alexa app to run routines from each of its four buttons. The button unit itself is OK but it's not as sturdy as normal electrical fittings and is not so good looking as a permanent feature on your wall.

Alexa Routines Don’t Work
I really hoped this product would work as described but it just doesn’t, setup was tricky, installing the hub was easy enough but it took me 15 attempts to pair the button itself, it just kept failing again and again and again then eventually worked. My biggest issue is that it just doesn’t do what I want it to do, it’s linked and shows in my Alexa devices (as a motion detector which is a little confusing) but no matter what it will no trigger the routines, Alexa can see the “motion” is detected when I press the button but it just doesn’t trigger the routine, disappointing, this is being returned.

Good product, would recommend
The media could not be loaded. Good product.Wasn’t on the App Store when I got it as Broadlink were having issues with the app, However I emailed them and got a reply within a day and the problem was also fixed within a day. Reasonably easy to setup, if you are unsure how to set it up just use a YouTube video.Small delay which is expected when clicking the buttons as it’s over wifi. Hub is small and low profile.Would recommend :)Worth noting, I was using it with Amazon Alexa routines- I didn’t test Google.Update: Few weeks later, Still works fine. Occasionally stops working temporarily and just needs clicking a few times but for the amount of times I press it a day it is still reliable.

Difficult to set up but works very well
Set up process is not intuitive but eventually you get there. Discovered by alexa straight away and as amother reviewer mentions you need to realise that the devices are seen as motion detectors and “Motion Detected” - Yes = Button being clicked,

Spotty performance.
Most other buttons in this style have multiple actions per button. This unfortunately only had 1 action per button forcing you to use 1 button per power state. So in practise, 4 buttons can control 2 on/off devices. The case was an off white plastic, kinda reminded me of a lightly nicotine stained colour. It states it connects to Alexa, which it did. But I had to keep unlinking and linking the account to Alexa and eventually it started working with Alexa routines. These show up on Alexa as Motion Sensors so a button press is the equivalent of motion detected.I really wanted to like this button but I had to refund as it was not fit for purpose.

Excellent
This is great for triggering Alexa routines or scenes. Really easy to setup. Just wish it had more buttons. 😄

Does not work with dual band router!
This product is amazing! But it does not work with a dual band router. I turned off 5ghz to install and works fine until i turn it on again! What i had to do was add a second router to my house working just on 2.4ghz network and after thats works fine! Works very well with alexa routines!

Great Product. Finally a way to control Alexa Routines.
The media could not be loaded. For reference I have both Alexa and Google connected to my home. I use Alexa to control smart devices, it's better than Google, and we use Google to answer and respond to questions, it's smarter than Alexa. I have over 50 smart devices, bulbs are a mix of Hue and Wyze, cameras are Wyze, smart plus Wyze, and a couple of Meross light switches. Most of not all devices are on a dedicated 2.4g router. I have an old router fixed to 2.4g. this way I have no switching or dropping issues. The hub connected quickly and in a standard process, setup app (in Canada it was the Broadlink universal remote app on Android) find the hub wifi, set to my 2.4g network and it was done. 3 minutes at most. The for the switch select scan QR code option in the pulldown menu, scan and it'll all you'll to confirm the switch, another 3 minutes and your done. If the switch isn't flashing to connect, hold the reset button until it starts flashing. It'll then connect.Next select the switch and rename your buttons, Alexa will display these names so name then to match your routine i.e. all light on, etc.In the app select Me or account, your should see Add Voice Recognition, select then select Alexa, this will connect the hub with your Alexa. Then setup routines in Alexa. Select When This Happens, in this case it thinks the switch is a motion sensor, just select you'll see the button names your renowned earlier, select then when motion is detected, then whatever action you'll want from the smart homes devices. Save and your done.So far this is working perfect, I'll update if I run into the same signal dropping issues mentioned in the other posts. But having the 2.4g network helps.

Works with ifttt Does’t work with HomeAssistant
Fijne fysieke knoppen.
