Fits the Ford explorer sport trac truck perfectly. Easy to install. Flips over when not in use so you can close the tail gate. Looks good on truck bed extender is great when you need extra space . Good quality.

Bought for my 23’ Maverick Lariat. Install was straight forward, and it was nice that the bed came pre-drilled for this same bracket template. However, the little self tapping metal screws they provided for the bracket are inadequate. I had to run up to the hardware store and buy about $12 worth of nuts, bolts, and washers. Removed the rear tail lights, and used the bolt/nut combo I bought to attach. Rock solid that way, and all is well. Works with the tailgate assist if you install one too.

This was pretty simple to put together. Fit perfectly on my '23 ford maverick xlt hybrid without any drilling required. Direct bolt on solution. Also, it fit underneath my tonneau cover. Good product for 1/2 the price of oem equivalent.

* at least for those who had to replace the original, which we did. It isn't necessary to cut 3" off as some have, you just need to fully insert the bars as far as humanly possible on both sides. It takes a lot of force and working each bar in little by little.The only other difference is the latch lock is slightly bigger than the original which required swapping out the latching plates mounted on both sides of the bed. Each is held in by three bolts which bolt into a loose plate that will fall off if you take all three screws out. Leave 1 screw in to keep the backplate from falling as it'll be difficult to get. You'll likely have to take both taillights (remove two screws each and pull away from the side panel to pop out rest of taillight) out to access the plate and align it. Install one screw in the replacement latch and remove original latch. With tall light removed, align other two holes and finish screwing in the latch. Would have been nice if the kit had parts in it to use the original latches.Otherwise, this one has more room to put stuff in as it's rectangular vs the $300 factory version which is more triangular. Also weight and quality seem comparable.

This was easy to assemble and didn’t require any modifications to fit on a 2023 Ford Maverick. The mounting brackets aligned perfectly with the factory pre-drilled holes by the tailgate. You will have to shove the straight tubes as far as you can into the curved ones in order for the width to fit without trimming them.Once assembled, the extender is pretty sturdy and looks great. I use it all the time to secure groceries and luggage with the tailgate shut. I have yet to use it for hauling in the extended position but have tested it out and it works well. Really happy I chose this instead of the one from Ford at 2x the cost.

This bed extender fits my Maverick well however, most of these extenders include a metal plate/bracket for the screws/bolts to hold into. Instead this included self tapping style screws which have started to loosen.

The media could not be loaded. Was not easy to install. Only due to my lack of understanding of tapping and using better bolts and so on. Once I had all the tools and parts I needed it took about 45min. Good stuff!
