Instruction Guides are the bomb!
I've seen 4 stars for this keyboard and lower, while I've had some similar experiences, however there's an answer to most of them which is why I'm giving this keyboard a 5 Star across the board. I first purchased early June of this year and I LOVE THIS keyboard.1) Power/connection to the computer- One customer said they didn't have experience with the battery life (I've gone through heavy daily use (10+ hours / day) for weeks and haven't needed a recharge. There are 2 main ways to connect to the computer a) through the USB dongle (attached to the bottom of the keyboard or b) through Bluetooth connection. The whole Idea of wireless is you don't have to plug it directly to your computer. The Bluetooth1& 2 buttons on the top right side connects to my computer easily, but not all computers have this capability, so the dongle wirelessly connects to the keyboard either way (wired or not) the USB port is used, so go with the function it was designed for... :)2) I've seen a few complaints regarding the delayed typing or they have to pound on the keyboard to get it to start typing because the keyboard doesn't type right when the user starts to type. I've noticed an initial delay in response because the keyboard is "waking up" from power save mode while not in use. Being a wireless keyboard, I expect the keyboard to conserve power when not in use. Before you "pound the keyboard" I recommend try hitting the keys a few times with regular pressure to wake up your keyboard.3) Keys falling off. Only 1 key from my first keyboard came off- I daresay it was because I had it in my backpack and not from typical use. The keys are attached with tiny plastic clips- depending on how hard someone is trying to type, they well may pop off. If they're not going back on- the plastic holders on the key itself are likely broken and it will *never* reattach correctly. I contacted the company through Amazon and they shipped a replacement right away. After asking a few trouble shooting questions (t/s) I emailed images of the underside of the key and the manufacturer promptly shipped a new keyboard. For me, it was September when I went through the customer service on Amazon for it, a few T/s questions4) Another customer asked- "Where's the Insert, scroll lock, pause/break and scroll lock?" The only one I know of for sure it's on the number keypad- just be sure NumLk is off- its the 0/insert key on the right hand side. This keyboard is super quiet compared to any of my other keyboards. Light to the touch, responsive to key presses, I don't have to pound the keyboard *ever* The only time my keyboard hasn't "worked" is whenever I'm starting up my system and starting to type- because the keyboard is in power saving mode.

Keys won't last
I really liked this keyboard. Liked it so much that I bought it twice hoping the first one was a fluke. Unfortunately, the keys will pop off and you can't get them back on. The first one is not even a year old and at first certain keys just got harder and harder to push. It was like a phantom ghost. One week it was the D, then the T, and now the right space bar. In the interim, the top half of several keys have popped up and 2 have popped completely off and I cannot get them back on. I tried for weeks to just work around it but when the T and N started acting up and the space bar, I had to concede defeat. Past the Amazon return but ordered another. Literally received it and most of the bottom left row wouldn't work. Luckily I was able to return the second as I figured that out on day 2. Wish I could get my money back on the first one. In short, just don't bother!!!!

Incredible Typing Experience but Poor Durabilty
I’ve had my keyboard for just over a year. After having recurrent tendonitis in my right arms for several years now, I am very particular about having the “right” setup for an ergonomic keyboard. I enjoy the Delux for the following reasons:- Chiclet keys are awesome for a fast typing experience. I love being able to fly all over the keyboard to type out everything easily. I don’t have to expend any extra time or energy to depress a key. Unlike other reviewers, I have not had a single key break off but maybe I got lucky.- Compatible with both my MacBook Pro and my office PC laptops. The Bluetooth connection and the firmware for this keyboard were a breeze to get setup for both of my laptops. There is only the slightest lag up startup of my computer or after the system was in sleep mode for a little bit. It even works well with my iPhone - which I am typing this review with the keyboard paired to my phone right now! The function keys have always worked really well for me - I just have to press the “Fn” key if I want to use the function for something (ex. Refreshing a webpage would be “Fn” + “F5” but adjusting the Brightness would be either “F1” or “F2” without having to use the “Fn” button).- A major criteria for me was to have a key with a light to indicate CAPS LOCK. In computer mode, it works really well but with an iPhone, the Caps lock key toggles back and forth between languages. The red light on the center of the keyboard indicates if it charging which is also a nice indicator. The number lock and cap locks features flash up on the screen when you press the key to let you know if you have toggled them on or off. The key to lock your work station is nice - I really missed this feature when I was playing around with another keyboard.- Media buttons are something that I never knew I wanted or needed. These are centrally located on the keyboard so I can quickly play/pause my music or video and the volume buttons are advantageous as well.- The rechargeable battery life is insane! I think I only charge this once a month and I only have my back light on about 15-20% of the time without it being charges. If you have a USB cord plugged into your docking station or laptop, you can simultaneously charge and type with your keyboard. Also, a keyboard with a rechargeable battery was another really important criteria because I think they last longer than the battery powered ones and (depending on who you ask) it is more “environmentally friendly” in the sense that you don’t so much disposable battery waste.- Backlight option for when I want to work in a more dimmer environment (I get migraines sometimes). Honestly, not a single keyboard showed up in my search when I first bought this keyboard with a backlight function. It’s true that you had to be careful to only purchase the black version of the Delux but now I believe the white/Mac version of this keyboard comes with a backlight feature too. I have not used that version.- The leather-like palm rest is so nice. It’s not cold to the touch and it doesn’t get your skin stuck to it either.- Adjustable legs are nice for me to change my wrist angle with my adjustable desk.- Size factor is also great because I get a less wide keyboard which allows me to set up my ergonomic mouse right next to it in my drop down. As an engineer, it was very important to have a deck after number pad. Also, if I ever have to transport my keyboard, it smoothly goes into just about any backpack - even the smaller 13” laptop sizes. Most of my cons below are related to material quality:- Keys get a high shine after a prolonged use. I did not expect my keys to become this shiny so quickly.- The palm rest pleather is peeling off. I don’t know how many more months/years the palm rest has ahead of it.- I wish the num lock key also had a light (like the Caps lock key).- Sometimes I miss having the dedicated Home/Scroll Lock/Insert/Print Screen/PgUp/PgDn/End key block. They are mostly still available in the number keypad. I also like the key that allows you to highlight the entire word that your cursor is on and then open up the menu that you usually have with a mouse’s right-click. This function really helps me format proposals while also proofreading them faster.- The dongle has too weak of a magnetic. I already lost mine somewhere during the course of my life… So until they change the design, make sure you tape down the dongle to the back of your keyboard if you don’t want to lose it!Overall, for the money that I paid for it when I purchased it, this keyboard was a bargain compared to the other keyboard at the time. Now the price has come up and I have tried shopping for other keyboard but nothing beats the typing experience I have with this keyboard.

Great find - backlit ergonomic keyboard works on Mac and PC
I love this keyboard. It is a pleasure to type on. Love the fact it has feet at front and back to give you full adjustment of your typing position.Really love that it is backlit and has varying illumination levels. The keys are nice and precise. Not as bouncy as a true mechanical keyboard and has great positive feedback and you don't "slip" off the keys, they are concave and don't have any extra play at the edges like some keyboards. So glad I found this, was about to settle for a lesser model without backlight, but it was worth the wait. The only negative is the price, so I hope I get many happy years of use! A very similar model without backlighting is half the price and a very pretty blue colour! :-)

Great ergonomic back-lit keyboard, for the right price. Thank you!!
Overall, I'm very happy with this product. I've been using it for a month now. The keys are good quality, and very quiet so I can type on conference calls. The keys are backlit underneath and around, so very easy to see. There is a lot of light surrounding each key that takes some getting used to, but the letters are back-lit contrary to some reports. The absence of dedicated end-home keys is easy to get used to, but I do miss that a bit. I do a lot of typing in a day, and it's still not a big deal. The options for direct hard wire to computer, bluetooth, or usb is really great - not being tied to one option etc. The keys auto-off a little earlier that I'd expect, but not a huge issue. I also like how the mouse fits closer to the right hand position. Great product for the right price......very hard to find a decent back-lit ergonomic key board these days. I wouldn't want to go back.-T
