Light bulb is of good quality. 5W bulb emits a nice bright light (daylight). Wife uses for needlepoint while watching TV. Nicely priced, good product for the value. Light is not dimmable. Small sized for a European made lamp. Heat generation is almost nil, barely feel it.

Used for bench grinder works great.

Extremely bright LED bulbs. Probably too bright for under the cabinet use but much better than the other white offered in terms of color. Would buy again

I needed to replace my stove hood lights and wanted to try led bulbs. These were a perfect fit and they’re so much better than my old lights. I have way more light than before and as a bonus they don’t get hot.

For tiny little bulbs, these guys pack a powerful punch! I love them in small special lights where you need a small bulb but a lot of light, Christmas decorations, ceramic Christmas tree, etc. The little bulbs that come with items you buy for decoration don't get off enough wattage. These fit the bill! I've ordered three pack packs!

Most available E12 bulbs are more of the nightlight brightness, maybe the equivalent of a 5 to 15 watt incandescent bulb. That may be fine for decorative lamps or strings of bulbs, but is not bright enough for something like a table lamp, wall sconce, or reading light. Generally an LED bulb wattage can be multiplied by around 8x to get the equivalent, so this 5W bulb is about the equal of a 40W old style bulb. 40W equiv. is not exactly blazing but sure beats the alternatives. We put it in a wall sconce that is the only light in our stairway, a decent improvement. Also the compact dimensions means we no longer are staring at a bare bulb sticking up above the shade at the top of the stairs. I wish they made an even brighter one, 8w or 60W equiv. would be more like a normal table lamp bulb.

Longevity Longevity? Just installed on Central Machinery 8" drill press/HrbrFrt. Fit better? than original incandescent, because of Form in it's tight shroud. Screwed right in! First worry, threads...Second, size....Third, illumination. Score on all three, what a pleasure! The Lumens produced for work table area, are wonderfully bright! Way better Function!!! Can't comment on longevity and effects from vibration/work environment. Bought 2, for convenient replacement to be on hand. It sucks when they die?, of course, at the most inopportune time! Very pleased, highly recommend and hope they last,...not the smoothest running machine in the herd.

Perfect replacement for the C7 size 40 watt bulbs in my nighstand lamp and they only use 5 watts. My lamp takes 2 bulbs, so I tried using 1 old school filament and 1 new led and they both emit the exact same amount of light. I specifically purchased these LEDs because they fit the C7 size socket in my old desk lamps.

These bulbs are way brighter than the ones they are replacing. My sewing machine has never seen so much light. 5 stars.

Works well while producing very little heat. Important when used in closed devices.

needed a bulb that will take a shock. installed 3 bulbs on a hopper control near a huge vibrator. also hopper is cleared by banging on it. these bulbs have continued to work under harsh treatment. have come loose but only needed thread back in tight.

Other than having to give it just a little bit more of a turn to make contact in the socket, it works as it should. I can't give a 5 star rating on longevity...It's been in the fridge for less than a day. iF it lasts 5 years...I'll up it to 5
