We now use this everytime we drain the hot tub. Just pour it in, run the jets 1 hour and then wait at least 24 hours before draining with regular circulation on. I haven’t experienced a strong smell. When we first used it, the water was really gross but has gotten less gross the more we’ve used this which makes me believe it has helped clean and maintain the plumbing. We also use spa marvel products when we refill the tub and clean the filter. Water quality and appearance has improved - overall more clear and less foamy. I have sensitive skin and have experienced hot tub rashes in the past. This allows me to use less chemicals which has helped reduce skin issues. I add a tablespoon of bromine each week, sometimes more if it was a heavy usage week, and occasionally shock it. I’ve noticed I need to balance the ph less too. It’s not cheap but improved health, cleanliness, and convenience and money saved using less chemicals make it worth it to me.

My hot tub didn't have any issues necessarily. It's just been three years so I wanted to do a "full clean". Seemed to clean well. Hot tub looks great and water (refill) is clear. I didn't have to do a rinse cycle, nor did it leave any hard calcium or deposits that others said. I'd purchase again.

Did what was on the label for filtering, seems to have worked, algae population seems to be way down. After more time I will know more.

Wow! What a difference! We could not get our water to balance but after running this and refilling the hot tub. It's running great!

I've bought this 3-pack before, and want to check - is the Cleanser (green label) for cleaning the tub surface or for the plumbing? I drained it last night and am ready to refill. And if anyone is worried about multiple refills - Water is expensive in Florida. But the 250 gallon tub - it is ~$5 for each fill.

When you change the water in your hot tub put this product in and let the Jets on all night long so it cleans the hot tub out. No maintenance involved . The next day Spray it out with the hose and fill it back up. Excellent product highly recommend it.

Hot tub was very clean after use. No more foam. Lots of unexpected debris came out of jets. Hot tub is like new again!

I used it according to instructions together with conditioner It works great I checked it weekly and the most I do is ph up

Easy to use. Use this before you refill with new water and Spa Marvel conditioner. I assume it works like it says but I know the conditioner works.

I only need to add sanitizer ( chlorine based) and very little else for 3 months
