Good directions for wiring
Clear easy to follow instructions to wire up. Easy to set on off times . Works as it should. We are using it to control our electrical water heater

easy to install, easy to setup and very easy to program
Excellent product, highly recommendedI bought an Intermatic Mechanical Water Heater Time Switch to save on the electric bill for our water heater. This Intermatic product turned out to be a TOTAL piece of garbage. The first unit stopped forking after three weeks, they sent a replacement and it stopped working after three months! There is a design product with the electric timer motor, it is too week to turn the on and off switch. There are YouTube videos about this problem. The company, Intermatic does not want to fix this problem. In summary DO NOT BUY the Intermatic Little Green Box Water Heater timer, it's piece of garbage, you will have only problems with it.Make sure to buy this product, it's a breeze to install, supper easy to setup and program, very well designed.I highly recommend this product.

This is a well-made timer works perfectly easy to install well worth the price. I replaced my mechanical timers with this digital best move. You can make mechanical timers suck. They don’t always turn off when they’re supposed to when pumps run with no water in them. It will cost you quite a bit to either replace the pump or pay someone to replace the pump get this digital timer and you will not regret it.

They do not last long, 3-9 mo.
I bought eight of these timers, 4 from SURAIELEC and 4 Dewenils. Three have gone bad. From my electrical engineering training I think it is the converter from 240 to 120 V. The relays don't work for either side of the 240v so it's not one side relay going out for DPDT function. I have eight pumps for my swimming pool and my water feature. All run off of 240v. I suspect this unit may work for 120 but I certainly wouldn't bet on it. I think the converter the senses and converts 240v to 120v to provide power to the clock and programming, and electromagnet relay is the weak point. When this fails, then the relay electromagnetic switches fail.
