This CBB61 ceiling fan capacitor is compatible with New Tech fans and 3-speed fan motors. For other ceiling, wall, or stand fans, the original capacitor must match 4.5uF + 5uF + 6uF, 250VAC, 50/60Hz, a 5-wire design, and available mounting space.

Can it replace a bad capacitor?

This ceiling fan capacitor replacement may help when a weak or burnt-out capacitor causes slow starting, failure to start, humming, uneven speed changes, or lost settings. It will not repair separate switch, wiring, bearing, or motor faults.

Does it come with installation instructions, and is it easy to install?

Worked Great

Great capacitors, It didn't match exactly what I had but it worked fine, Fan spins fast again! Got two for a good price, so I can't complain as it will be a spare. Easy to install, I just used some connectors that I had at home and heat shrunk it. Took maybe 30 minutes taking my time to do it from start to finish.

Restored Speed to Older Ceiling Fan
