This didn’t work as well as I expected for some reason I thought it would actually mend a nail that broke but it just broke further. Very disappointed.

This Nail Mender covers a split nail well and allows the nail to grow without an annoying split that requires the nail to be cut short.

I purchased this item because it said it would fix broken or cracked fingernails. It is nothing more than a clear nail polish. It does not help to mend or fix the torn nail whatsoever it is a complete rip off.

I wanted to counter some of the negative reviews about this nail product. While it absolutely CANNOT MEND A BROKEN NAIL, I have found it to be an incredible topcoat. If you know anything about fingernails, then you know that a wrap, glue or some kind of gel or acrylic coating is what is going to do that. So I didn't buy it to mend a nail. I've had this bottle for two years and have used it occasionally. It's hasn't changed in consistency. It still dries well--I keep the bottle tightly closed. I try a lot of different nail products, not the same ones over and over. I had professional manicures for over 25 years and do my own nails now. Never had acrylics or gel except for an occasional nail break. But what I noticed is that with this as a topcoat, my home manicure had a durable quality and the coating was a bit unique. Not a thick gloss, but shiny. I gave it four stars instead of five because it cannot mend a nail. Maybe you could use it with a paper or silk wrap?

Probably was expecting this to save my nail, but it still broke off after applying muliple coats, it works better for small breaks.

This is the best nail mender I have ever tried. I just love it!

Haven't used it yet because I have gel nail polish on. Will try it soon.

Really useless. I applied 2 coats, then one coat of nail polish and followed with top coat of this. That should have been more than enough but it was chipping and peeling on first day!! I had 3 nails that were peeling at ends but this came off all my nails. Don't bother trying !!
