Works perfectly with my OBD II scanner, heavy duty, great product.
I bought this to extend my Autogauge OBD II scanner so I could mount it below the sunroof switch panel of my Land Rover Discovery II. It is the perfect length, with no excess cordage, to do this. Further, after buying 3, yes 3, OBD II extension cords off ebay (the ones that ship directly from China), and none of them worked, I am very pleased with this one. It attaches to the plug in my truck at a right angle, so it runs flush along the fuse panel, with no cordage hanging down, and in fact, its the only "right angle" plug I could find on the internet that didn't ship from China (see problems above). DO NOT buy the TomTop cords sold both here and on Ebay, they do not work and cost more to ship back to China than the actual cost of the item itself. Buy this one, its heavy duty, much nicer than the cheap Chinese ones, and should last forever. 5 stars, great product.Update- Almost a year later, and my cable still works great, even though I've unplugged it and plugged it back in probably over a hundred times. 5 stars again, very rarely can you find any product this well made for this price.

Emission testing problem solved
Got my notice to have my 10 year old Nissan emissions tested. Problem - The testing plug in my carsomehow worked itself loose from the opening in the dash, and entwined itself with the other wiringunder the dash. I found it, but could not reinstall it in the dash opening. It was a stretch even topull it close enough, let alone push it into the opening and secure it. Not wanting to have an issuewith one of illinois finest, I took a look through Amazon for an extension plug. I didn't even knowif such an animal existed. Yet I found this one, after reading the reviews; especially on the country of origin (no Chinese), and ordered it. It fit the car plug like a glove, routed it through the fuse block opening and let it all hang out. Needless to say the operator was pleased, I passed, so I was pleased and once more Amazon came to my rescue. They simply have EVERYTHING!And, I now have easy access to my OBD scanner.

Good cable allows for lots of flexibility in placement
I purchased this because I wanted to leave a bluetooth enabled ODB adapter in my vehicle but the placement of the port left it sticking out a bit from under my dash. With this cable, I was able to plug in the the port and thread the cable to the fuse box nearby. I was then able to wind up a bit of the excess cable and place the adapter in the the fuse box. It is not completely hidden but accessible when I open the door. The cable is a thick enough to help hold the device in place but also flexible enough to put it where you want. I would highly recommend this cable, especially in light of the low cost.

Does not match photo description! The right-angle is on the left side of the OBD2 port
I purchased this cable based on the photo that shows the right-angle facing the right side of the OBD2 port. Since we live in the US, most of our cars are Left-Hand Drive, so regardless of where the OBD2 port is mounted, we generally want the cable/device towards the passenger side and out of the way of the steering wheel and door. I am unsure why the majority of right-angle OBD2 cables have the right-angle facing the left side because I have to route the device and cable to the right leaving an unsightly amount of cable lying around.I'd give this cable 5 out of 5 stars if the photo matched the actual product.Overall: 3/5 stars, right-angle faces the wrong way but otherwise the cable works fine with my BAFX ELM327 v1.5 adapter.

High Quality
Another professional mechanic recommended this cable to me. It's as good as he said it was. It's a great addition to my Snap On MT2500 & Snap On Modis scanners. I was surprised on how tightly the male end fit into the OBD II Data Link Connector on every car I plugged it into. Nice thick insulation on the cable, too. Great for vehicles where the brain dead car designers placed the data link connector right over either the gas pedal or brake pedal. Keeps the cable away from your feet while you road test.

Works great! - would have been nice to find a 30cm one (do they even make one?) as 60 is a touch longnot as low profile on the right angle as I would have liked but is well constructed

Excellent quality, easy to modify if needing to do a pin swap.
I went through 3 connectors before I found one that had all 16 pins wired up in a way that you could get to them if you needed to swap one of the pins around, or add in a switch. The other ones might be cheaper, or have a flat cable but all that means is they are more likely to fray and break.Do yourself a favor, if you are using a $200 scan tool, get a good quality cable.

It is left angled opposite of what in the photo
Ordered per description and photo as a right angled received the opposite a left angled in case of my car it will not work, it interferes with driver door pillar.I wish somebody fixes the description and photo and save buyers the wasted time and hassle of returning. To be accurate whether it is considered Left or Right angled should be in reference to pin 1 location of the OBD2 connector .
