Works great but practice first
Using two of these on a butt joint with two pieces of 25" laminate countertop. Coated the ends of the countertop with wood glue and its holding strong and I love that this helped pull the pieces towards each other from the middle of the width of the counter. However, practice first! It can be difficult to get the screws to catch the threads, and depending on which side of the joint you're on, which way to turn the ball joint might not be obvious when there's wood glue everywhere and you've made a giant mess. This happened to me and I spent 10 minutes frustratingly turning the joint the wrong way. If I did a glue-less practice first, things would have gone much easier for me.

Works very well
Easy to use, worked like a charm to attach acacia counter top miter. 7/8” Forster bit for the mounts and 7/16” drill bit for the bolt (run the drill bit past the hole for adjustability)

Ball end operation.
Worked well. As described. Holding a 20 foot conference room table together. Could use a tool to operate the ball end.

a must for butcher block edges
Used 3 of these to pull together two 19" wide butcher block slabs joined at a 45 degree miter. Combined with a good wood epoxy I ended up with a very tight and very clean joint. I would highly recommend these. They are a bit of a pain to install. You need a good forstner drill bit for the circular cut (like the one recommended by Amazon--skip the bit made by knape & voigt), regular drill bit to start the channel, and a router or chisel to complete the channel in the wood for the bolt. I would also recommend thethe tite-joint guide/jig and the tightening rod. I expect my butcher block to crack from warping/movement before I get any edge creep because these hold TIGHT

Works!
If you're making a butt joint in a countertop, a few of these and a little glue is what you need. They work perfectly. I installed mine just fine without the various accessories. You just need a drill bit and a forstner bit to make the holes and a small nail to tighten the fastener.

Work well but needed finesse
The product does work, the screws are difficult to start and come with no tips so if you put the heads in wrong they will not line up and are difficult to thread together
