Our 15 year old Panasonic vacuum gave up the ghost and we needed something to clean the house while we renovate. We took a chance as this seemed like a good deal - wet and dry options and for less than £100. Well. Wow. Just wow. It’s not as sexy as a Dyson, but we kind of love the form follows function design. DAMN it works well. The suction is enough to get paint flecks from under skirting boards. You have the option of getting bags for the inside - comes with 5 and you can get more… but the steel construction is so easy to clean, it works perfectly without. It’s light and easy to manoeuvre. If you’re super tall you may want to get an additional metal pipe extension but I’m 1.63m and it’s perfect to vacuum. Just so chuffed with this. Would have gotten one of these over any other vacuum out there… before this we owned a VAX one before (the purple one) and the plastic bits were very difficult to take apart. This thing is so simple and easy to open and close, like butter. Genuinely so highly recommended.

I purchased the Hyundai HYVI 3014 wet and dry vacuum cleaner to replace a Draper wet and dry with power socket vacuum cleaner, which had developed a fault after nearly 30 years of use. It was delivered within two days of the order being placed. The attached photograph shows the underside of the machine, and there is a small chain which I think might be to act as a 'static' earth as it drags along the floor, to prevent static shocks. It has two castors and two wheels and it took about two minutes to assemble out of the box. Quick and easy to put together. The suction and blowing facility are both very powerful. The instructions state that the dust bag (there was one in the box) MUST be installed when vacuuming dry debris. Only time will tell whether it will last as long as my replaced Draper vacuum cleaner. The three year guarantee is a plus. Proof of purchase must be kept in order for the warranty to be valid. As other reviewers have commented, the 1.5 metre flexible hose is rather short, and I've kept the much longer hose from the older Draper vacuum. Spare bags are available from the Hyundai Power Equipment Co UK website in packs of three. Slots around the machine hold the various attachments.

I purchased this product because of the 1400w motor and I am pleased with the sucktion this unit has. The electrical take off is also a great function and works well. I only gave 4 stars because of the size of the hose diameter. This does not fit any of my machines and although an adapter is supplied It is not that effective. It would also be very advantageous if the hose was longer although they do make the length clear in the specification.

Bit of a fiddle to put together. Once you have used it a few minutes it’s easy to use. Lifts water easily but you need a bucket to put power unit on when emptying the housing. Needs care in lifting as it is a bit heavy when full of water. Prepare an exit route if using indoor to clear a basement. Got some good advice from help desk before I bought it, so if you have a doubt ask them. Bit noisy but nothing to worry about as it is a pump. Going by rental price of a similar thing it’s good value for money, and it has many uses.

This hoover is held up by two wheels snapped into a plastic housing with a stainless steel stud bar.I was hoovering and suddenly one of the wheels snapped. The plastic housing design fault that holds the steel of the wheel is wafer thin and it was bound to happen sooner or later but for me it was sooner,six weeks after buying it.You cannot use this hoover now as it's too heavy to drag on it's one wheel side,so I'm goosed until I get a new hoover. IT WONT BE HYUNDAI and It will be going back for a full refund.
