These wire nuts are terrible. I've used quite nuts for years. These are the worst I've ever used. The metal insert that is to bind the wires comes out, strips out. I bought 250 and will throw them away. They are non usable.DO NOT PURCHASE. A TOTAL WAIST OF YOUR MONEY.

I use these with a little electric grease for sprinkler ground wiring and the grey for the color wires. Work great- always turn cap upright so as not to hold/catch dirt/water while in use.

About half of the connectors work, has been our experience. The center springs come out easily.

Some of the inserts don’t catch or fall out but they are worth what they cost
