Pillow Cube Side Cube - 5" Cube Pillows for Side Sleepers, Cooling Memory Foam Pillows for Neck and Shoulder Pain - King, Queen, Twin 24"x12"x5"

I was not sure I’d love this, tried a lot of different pillows. I’m a side sleeper with neck and back issues. This pillow is good sized, comfortable and offers great support as a side sleeper. I do wish it were maybe a half inch to an inch less thick but overall I’ve been pleased.

14 month update: My full review is below, but updating that the foam is still holding strong and I'm still very happy with this pillow. It's great for falling asleep on my side - no shoulder pain - and also works great for me when I sleep on my back! I now travel with this pillow and am constantly putting it into a travel vacuum bag. Even so, the foam is still in great shape and bounces right back. I am a side-sleeper and was constantly waking up with an aching shoulder causing me to shift back-and-forth all night from one shoulder to the other. This pillow has completely eliminated that issue for me. For reference I am 6ft 160lb male. I've had no trouble with the pillow smelling (I let it air out for a day before I started using it initially). I've had no trouble with the pillow being hot or retaining heat. And lastly, after 4 months the foam has still NOT started to flatten out and it seems to have retained its original shape and dimension. This was a concern I had when I first ordered the pillow so happy to report that it does not seem to be a short term issue, although I'm sure some day it will start to loose its dimensions and flatten out since it is made of foam. Although I always intended to leave a review on the pillow after a few months, I was motivated to do so today after staying at a hotel this weekend without my pillow cube. Although the hotel bed was comfortable and the pillows beautifully plush, I again woke up multiple times with my shoulders hurting. I am thankful to be home again! Hope this review is helpful to someone out there.

I have been struggling with neck and shoulder pain and was skeptical that this "cube" pillow would help. I have been using more expensive premium pillows from top brands. 3 nights on this pillow and my neck feels wonderful. I'm 6'2" and have broad shoulders and this pillow is perfect for me.. I'm so happy and starting to feel better. I highly recommend this pillow if you are similar to me.

I had high hopes for this cube pillow because I am 90% a side-sleeper. After using it for 3 months it did nothing to help relieve my neck pain from years of side sleeping. And it cost $100 for basically a rubber formed pillow. It is not a pillow you want to use to hug while sleeping, might as well use a plastic inflatable balloon, which might be cheaper.

When this pillow showed up on the daily deal, I was hesitant because of the $100 price tag. However, I was able to reason the price for 2 reasons. First, I would be able to return it if I didn't like it, and second, I spend 1/3 of my day in bed, so I should opt for luxury. I read the reviews extensively before deciding to purchase. I was worried about the chemical odor that's mentioned in quite a few of the reviews. I didn't notice any smells at all. Now part of it could be due to losing my sense of smell after having Covid, and it hasn't fully returned. But if it's a trapped smell, such as this would have been from being shrink wrapped in the box, then I should have picked up some scent. Absolutely nothing. When unpacking it, I was fearful because the pillow was flat, maybe only 1-2 inches thick, and it's supposed to be 5 inches. It was also very floppy and didn't feel like there would be any support to it. I gave it a day to just sit and acclimate to the unpacking and room temperature (it was below freezing when it delivered and spent most of the day outside on the porch). The first night I slept on it I prepped myself for a rough night and kept my old pillows close by in case I needed to do a middle of the night exchange. I surprised myself by not needing my old pillows, and I slept the whole night without waking up one time. I haven't done that in years. I also have an alarm clock ritual that allows me to wake up slowly to acclimate my body to getting out of bed as I struggle with daily pain. I woke up and was shocked at how reduced my pain was. In fact I was able to get out of bed with only doing minimal stretching, whereas before I'd have nearly 20 minutes worth of exercises just to get up. Now I was worried that all this would be a fluke and that the second or third nights reality would come slamming back in. So far that hasn't proven to be the case. I've had nearly a full week of sleeping through the night and waking up with pain reduction. So long review summarized - it's worth the money if you are a true side sleeper and want a good pillow for spine alignment.

I'm very happy but also perplexed. I ordered this pillow cube deluxe from amazon, love it, my hubby used it and asked me to order him one. I ordered the next one direct from the pillow cube site due to sale price and the new one is supposed to be the exact same pillow. It looks exactly the same inside and out; same dimensions, height, foam, everything but the new one is squishier, softer, and less dense than the Amazon one and it's lighter to pick up. It honestly worked out great because hubby likes the firm one and I prefer this softer one but what gives? Anyway, never in my life would I have thought I'd spend $200+ on 2 bed pillows but I have no complaints so far besides that mystery. Been sleeping on them for about a month and I won't go back to a normal pillow. I'm a religious side sleeper and now that I'm in my 30's I need better support, this is it.

I’ve been looking for a pillow that is firm, cooling and provides the right amount of support for side sleeping. I thought a cube shaped pillow would be a gimmick but after watching their video, i decided to give it a try because it looked like it actually could do what they say it does. I ordered my pillow and it came flattened and vacuum sealed. After removing it from the vacuum seal, it plumped immediately. It did have a slight chemically smell but that dissipated quickly. After two nights sleeping with the pillow I realized I had ordered the wrong size for my height. I ordered regular size for individuals over 5’ 3”. I am 5’1” and I found that the pillow was too thick so I wasn’t getting the proper alignment. So when you order, be sure to make sure you order the correct size pillow for the height/size. I sized down to the thin, which turned out to be perfect. Upon opening the pillow, I did feel like the thin wasn’t has firm as the standard but it turned out to be fine. The pillow looks like a cute rectangular block. The pillow casing is very soft and cool to the touch. I will say that the pillow does stay cool for a very long time. When I’m ready to sleep, I tuck the pillow between my shoulder against my neck. Once I lay my head down on the cool pillow, I fall asleep pretty fast. The pillow is comfortable and most importantly, the firmness is giving me the proper support to keep my spine aligned. So far I’ve been sleeping on this pillow for about a month and I really love it. Most pillows lose their firmness and therefore lose the head and neck support. I have high hopes that this pillow will remain firm for a long time. I’ll try to remember to do an update after 6 months of using this pillow. For now, it’s definitely a recommend from me!

My mum has arthritis in her neck and even though this pillow is great quality, it didn't help elevate her neck pain.

It's hard to find a great pillow for a good price. The first week neck was a little sore but once you have adjusted to it I feel more rested. The cube pillow kinda turns your head and body so you sleeping on your side. Very comfortable

I bought Pillow Cube and a $300 Tempurpedic brand pillow at the same time. As a side sleeper, I absolutely LOVE Pillow Cube. My morning neck pains and are gone and I’ve been having restful sleeps. I highly recommend.

I really like this pillow. It took a couple of days to get use to but seems to help with neck pain and shoulder pain. It there was anything different I could say about it ., it could be a little denser to make it heavier. I use the famous purple pillow so this is about the closes one that I could find but without the extreme cost compared to the purple one. I would recommend this one for a side sleeper.
