On Thursday evening I heard a knock from the front. Excited, I jumped up from the couch to answer the door. On the doorstep laid a box from Amazon. I knew what was in there; I knew that my life was about to change. I returned to my seat in front of piles of work and laptop and proceeded to carefully open the box labeled Prime. In there, awaited a gloss black container of Jocko White Tea. A bald headed character on box approved. Cautiously, I handled the container like it was a magazine full of 5.56 NATO cartridges; opening it up to view its contents. 25 individually wrapped rounds awaiting to be seeped. Tomorrow, the enemy will be in for a treat. The following morning I jumped out of bed; 0430 that is. I stumbled through the pitch dark bedroom headed towards the kitchen, warily dodging strategically placed IED’s consisting of pets, cat toys, and women’s shoes. Careful not to disturb my commanding officer, the wife I continued forward. Reaching my checkpoint I grabbed my ammo for the day, 1 pouch of Jocko White Tea and proceeded to brew the pomegranate flavored concoction. The flavors came on strong but not over powering. Pomegranate? Affirmative! Lemongrass? Roger that. Interesting enough, as I enjoyed this morning tea a voice from above broke the pre-dawn silence. “GET AFTER IT” I heard in a stern Colonel Jessup like tone the words came clear…Jocko? I started to feel a change come over me. My face glowered as hair began to cover my arms. 20 minutes later the transformation was complete. I felt like a warrior, an animal, a psychopath armed with a broom, cell phone, and laptop. It was time to go to war. Forward towards the fire and into the fray I made way. I proceeded with day’s mission at hand. Dishes, vacuuming, and laundry were all handled with ease. The litter box? Not a problem, my hairy sailors were now happy their head and deck were cleaned. Mission 1 complete. Mission 2 began as mission 1 ended. Emails, cold calls, follow ups, blog post, vlog post all ready to fill my day. As I sat there overwhelmed with the tasks at hand, another voice entered my mind. This time, the voice was quieter and hoarse like a Batman from Texas. “Relax, look around, and make a call.” “Roger that, Leif” I replied. Prioritize and execute. Mission 3 the WOD at night felt like a warmup. Deadlifts, muscle-ups, and burpees were child’s play. Mission 4 palm muting and right hand rhythm drills felt tight, my guitar tone sounded great. I couldn’t believe how fast I was playing. I had dominated the entire day. If you’re looking to conquer your day this is a good place to start. In all seriousness the tea itself tastes great over ice and hot. I don’t really consider myself caffeine sensitive but I definitely felt it come on way harder than the other available brands. I was literally lit up like a Christmas tree for the entire day…but in a good way…not a crackhead way. Great product. Thanks Jocko and Echo for the awesome podcast and products. First of all, I am a huge fan of the Jocko podcast and his book. I have written a review of Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win and highly recommend that as well. Everything I have seen from the podcast and the book has been very high quality and it is hard to put my appreciation into words, but I will attempt to do so now--for this one product at least. This tea is no exception to the high bar I have seen set by other products and content Jocko produces. As someone who drinks tea all the time, it was nice getting a pomegranate tea that was not overly sweet and not very tea-like. This tea definitely smells sweet but the taste is well balanced. It lends itself well to being drank hot or cold. I think this tea cold is especially refreshing. The tin is great, it keeps the tea fresh and since the bags are individually wrapped, they keep well. I think the design elements on the tin and on the tea bag are great. I have made sure to take photos of all of these design elements so you can see them clearly. I have also taken photos of the tea bag itself and the background mat will allow you to get dimensions of the tea bag, the tin, etc. The tea bag, while cheap looking (definitely not a "mighty tea"-like bag) is actually pretty strong and does the job. The string is decently hard to snap off from the bag, so you shouldn't get any spills of loose tea leaves in your drink. Included in this tin are 25 individually clear plastic wrapped tea bags. I found a great meal pairing of a 2016 Jocko White Tea Pomegranate tea with a Ribeye friggin steak. I found it to be elegant, sophisticated and satisfying. When people ask me how I like my ribeye cooked there's only one response. I'll eas my steak "GOOD", I also found myself wanting to get after it as soon as I was finished with my steak dinner paired with Jocko White Tea . My wife asked me what the hell was wrong with me, she wanted to know why I was suddenly waking up everyday at 0445 hours to do physical training. I told her its because that's what I do on the tea. Jocko White Tea has also helped stay focused when reading classics by Bob Hoffman and Colonel David Hackworth. The Jocko Podcast took me on the path to the Jocko White Tea. The Jocko Podcast is a place where you can drink white tea and listen to a retired Navy Seal read books by written by fantastic human beings. Who doesn't want to lay in bed at night and have a hard charging tough bastard read to you while you enjoy some beef jerky and hot tea. These guys is the toughest bastards in the tea business from what I can see. I also found myself taking Krill oil and glucosamine chondroitin on a daily basis and washing it down with a bit of coconut oil. Before I hit the streets every day I make sure that I fuel my body with Jocko White Tea. My brain function has improved and the synapses are firing full speed, especially when I need to mitigate risk with aggression. The tea has also helped my with self-discipline and I have so much more freedom because of my disciplined tea lifestyle. Jocko White Tea Pomegranate could be the greatest tee ever created.

Ce thé est l'arme secrète des forces spéciales américaines. Intrigué par l'existence d'un tel produit, je l'ai essayé il y a plus d'un an. J'en prend une dose tous les jours au petit matin, et je n'ai jamais osé arrêter de peur de subir les effets d'un sevrage trop violent. Depuis près d'un an que je l'utilise, j'ai gagné 10 cm en taille, pris 20kg de muscles, ma voix a baissé de deux octaves et j'ai désormais une gueule de tueur (et je ne suis pas adolescent, j'ai plus de 40 ans). Une demi heure après l'ingestion, j'entend habituellement une voix rauque qui me dit des choses à intervalles réguliers (comme "good", "get after it", ou "discipline equals freedom") et une sorte de système d'autopilote prend le contrôle de mon corps et me plonge dans mes activités quotidiennes. Lorsque je sors de cette transe, le travail de la journée (et même un peu plus) a été fait proprement. Depuis que j'en bois, ma femme est revenue (et celle d'un ami aussi), j'ai quintuplé mon salaire (ça marche même sur les fonctionnaires), et mes cheveux ont repoussé. Sinon, de manière plus pratique, je fais infuser un sachet à 70°C pendant 6 minutes dans un thermos de 50cl. Cela donne une couleur écarlate à l'eau d'infusion. Le gout de grenade est présent mais discret. Pas d'amertume, mais une très légère pointe d'acidité pour la citronelle. Rien d'exceptionnel dans le gout, mais cela reste agréable. Chaque sachet comporte une petite étiquette grise avec marqué "good" dessus, ce qui est un bon rappel en cours de journée quand on fait face à des difficultés. Et c'est un bon moyen de soutenir Jocko Willink en gardant les principes qu'il défend à l'esprit chaque jour...
