Easiest/fastest/cheapest/best I've seen anywhere
If you read the instructions — and they could not POSSIBLY be any more clear; a first-grader could understand them, in either written or video form, and you'll be presented with both — there is no reason that anyone would rate this less than five stars.Read everything before you do anything else! Read this page before you buy it! Read the instructions before registering the test online! Read the collection procedure before ripping open the vial! Read the advice about shipping delays before you decide when to take the test!Simple stuff here folks. I bought the test, it was delivered in two days. I waited until I needed it, read all of the above, collected my sample, drove to the UPS store to drop it off the next morning, received notification it had been delivered the day after that, and got a test result that same evening. Now, if there is a delay with UPS, that's a fair criticism! For UPS!In the end, you're paying far, far less to have this test done in the convenience of your own home, at a moment's notice any day of the week or time of day than you would reloading the CVS website or driving two hours to get one done by someone else. If your efforts are thwarted by a shipping company's systemwide delays, and you don't have a backup plan in place, well, then that's hardly Amazon's fault, is it?I'm buying a few more now just to have on hand. Maybe you should have to submit common-sense intelligence test results before being permitted to buy the actual test.

Great if you need a test for work or travel
First off, I will say that I never needed to have to get a test until I had to travel for work. Yes I could have gotten free testing in my state but I didn't want to hassle with making an appointment. So i opted to buy 2 of these because my company is requiring anyone who travel to test before a trip. I was very concerned because I was traveling on a Tuesday and could not test until Friday before.....So I did the test, swabbed away and packed it up. Very easy process. Just like others said register it the day you are going to use it. The label is already attached to the box and is delivery Monday thru Saturday! That was huge for me because I was very concerned I would be out of luck if it wasn't delivered on Saturday!I dropped mine off at a ups drop box, though if you are extra concerned I would taking it to a UPS store or dealer that can give you a drop off receipt. I got text message from when it shipped to when it arrived at the lab... which was early Saturday Morning! What a relief!Received my results Saturday afternoon. Used another kit a week later same way, again got the results! This is a great product....if you follow the directions you should be just fine. Not sure why this is getting so many bad reviews. Will be purchasing again as I will be traveling for work in a few weeks!

Terrible experience
I ordered two kits to have on hand for when we needed to test someone in our home. My spouse tested positive for COVID-19 in 12/28 using our last at-home rapid test (BinaxNow, not this Amazon test), and I started feeling symptomatic the next day. I wanted to take a test, but no stores have at-home test kits available, so I went to take one of these Amazon tests on 12/29. However, the instructions online said not to take a test between 12/29 and 1/2 because the lab or UPS would be closed for 5 days straight. How...convenient. If someone needs to test on 12/29, they really have to wait FIVE days to get tested? So with my $40 test kit (with next-day results!), I will not get my results for six days. What is the point of an at-home test kit offering next-day results?? But it gets even better...As instructed, I waited until 1/3 to take the test. Before you can even register your test kit, you have to go to an amazon-branded website -- not the normal amazon site, though -- and enter all sorts of intrusive personal information: name, address, date of birth, phone number, e-mail, and race/ethnicity. Then you have to verify BOTH your e-mail address AND your phone number (with codes send to each one). I would never give up that sort of information on an unknown site, but if you want to take the test, you have to do it. So I did. But it gets better...Finally, I get to the point of registering my test kit. The system wants me to type in a code found in the test kit, but when I do that, the system says my test is expired. I look at the label, and sure enough, both test kits expired on 12/31. You can't even see the expiration date until you open the kit to take the test. Recall that I was TRYING to take my test on 12/29 (prior to the expiration date) but waited until 1/3 because the website instructed me to do so. So here I am, five days after onset of symptoms, still unable to find an at-home rapid test, and both of my Amazon test kits are expired and worthless. Is it allergies or covid? I'll never know.I contemplated asking Amazon for a replacement test. . Well guess what, new tests do not even ship for six days. Assuming I get the test kit in a week, it'll be eight or nine days before I get results. By that point, I won't need a test anymore. All in all, this was a complete waste of time and money.
