does it work in Win10?

Yes it does. I built a computer and installed Microsoft Flight Simulator. No problems.

Why is it so expensive?

Hi, at the time that was going price.I haven't had time to change it.I will change in a little while.thanks

Does it crash on windows 7 like the gold edition.

More than likely it's not a problem with this game on Windows 7. You may want to check your hardware specs and make sure they are well above the recommended specs on the box. Also, make sure to update video and sound card drivers. I haven't had any issues with this game crashing from the 5-10 hours I have played it.
