iFixit Essential Electronics Toolkit

I always need to repair something yearly and the tools that I had been using were all cheap, nasty and only just got the job sorted. I've followed iFixIt for years so decided to splash some cash on a proper kit so that I could repair some stick drift issues on a Nintendo Switch Joycon The quality of the kit is fantastic for the money, it has all of the obscure screw bits that you need for getting into electronics like the pesky T security screws. They're all magnetised so the screws dont end up getting lost inside your electronics once you've undone them. The picks made unclipping internal plastic seals really easy too. Basically it has everything you need to get most electronics cracked opened so you can repair them. The lid also acts as a nice tray for storing removed screws and components. The only downside is that the screwdriver handle is made of plastic with a rubberised grip, but you can spend a bit more and get a fancy aluminium one instead if that's what you're after. For the money though I don't think this kit can be beaten, it'll help you get into game consoles & phones easily without breaking the bank.

Very useful kit, screwdriver is magnetised so no dropping screws and the lid doubles as a tray to keep the parts while you do what you need.

Great , just what we needed

Seems to definitely better than some of the budget options. I have used this on a few projects now and I have had less drama opening devices than I used to have. Even some really fiddly bits were quite simple with this as the components in the kit seem to be stronger than some of the stuff I have had before. The opening blade has made short work of getting into some cases / remote controls and is worth getting on its own just for how easy it makes things. I wouldn't of thought about buying one of the other Ifixit kits before due to the premium price but next time I need to replace some tools I might have to consider it now.

Brought to repair my steamdeck but this kit has many many more applications and is incredibly high quality for an affordable price. I particularly like the organiser tray lid, it's a small detail but shows they really thought about the product. IFixit is definitely a leading brand and it is clear as to why.

My go to tool set for opening up electrical items. So useful if a bit cheap feeling. The grid on the lid for keeping the screws together in an organized way is a great addition. Would buy again.

Really handy for tinkering with phones, watches any tech devices really. The bits will cover pretty much everything if you need more they sell more. Magnetic screwdriver is useful for not losing anything, the bits just slot in and the lid has a segmented design for storing anything in its own spot. Only issue is Tweezers are not very well made and bend a little too easy but over all everything else is well made.

Very handy if you have to replace parts inside a personal computer. Almost every tool you need is in the box.

Great product. Yes its expensive in India because its imported, but it is still worth it, provided you have regular use for it. The pro tech toolkit is also available In India but this one does most of the job at half the price. However if you just need a basic toolkit you can get cheaper options that can give a greater value to you.
