Stands for Skeletons
Standing Skeletons for our display... worked so much better than what we were using to stand the boney people. Will definitely buy more.

Waste of money and time
This item arrived with a big whole in the box ( I had to pay $11 for shipping and handling). I got around to opening it today and this is what was in the box. The paint on the pole is all scratched up and What skeleton is this supposed to hold? This is not even 3 feet. I want my money including the shipping and handling back. Truly a rip off. I wouldn’t give it any stars if I had a choice.

Held up Against Windy Weather
I have had good luck with these skeleton stands with harsh winds (40-50 MPH yesterday). The key was that I staked in the base of the skeletons using the "Suncast 8-inch metal garden stakes" Suncast 8-Inch Metal Garden Stakes, Silver (Pack of 4) (any good stake should do the job, I liked these because of the flat long head) Only needed 4 per base along the inside of the H.The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the hooks to attach the skeleton bend right away. Could not use it to hold up the skeleton. But there is an easy fix. I used 12 gauge wire and tied my skeletons to the stand with that. It has held strong through some very windy weather. And per the photo it is nice that the stands bend along with the skeleton leg. If your skeletons are wearing clothes you can use it to hide the stand. No one paid or gave me anything for this review. I just care about fellow Halloween enthusiasts.

Worked as expected
Ordered two but received 1 1/2. The upright was missing out of the package. The product worked as expected though.

Design is great; functionality is terrible
This was a terrible disappointment.I had big plans for this year's Halloween display, part of which required a standing poseable skeleton animal control officer. This stand was *supposed* to be the thing for the 5' Crazy Bonez skeleton. It is not. More accurately, it is not in its current construction. For starters, the top section (C) would not seat far enough down the middle section (B) to trigger the snap pin lock, so the top of the stand would forever be at risk of toppling.Second, the "clips" (thin metal loops) are unable to hold the weight of the skeleton. The upper part of the skeleton slipped forward after just 3 minutes. Manually closing the clips proved no more successful. The structure itself could work fine if it were made only a small bit more competently. If any one of these problems could be solved, I would put up with the others. But, if I end up having to jury rig the entire stand, then what did I pay the price for?The concept is excellent. The execution is abysmal. Your choice is to buy it and work on it yourself or just go out and get a makeshift (metal or pvc rod) and some wire.

Skeleton stands
Neet to use zip ties and block to stabilize, but was exactly what I expected. I am able to display my skeletons in various positions.

Don't waste your money on the stand
I read the poor reviews. I thought, "I can always just tie it on." Well, IF the skeleton was centered over the base that might have worked. The clips did not hold well, not even for a few hours. The stand has spring pins that hold the base together so that the skeletons hips are at a 45 degree angle to the "H" base. I could not get the pole to stay any other way on the base. Even properly in place the skeleton is putting too much weight forward and tipping the base. You CAN position a foot of the skeleton to hold him up, until he gets bumped, or a door gets slammed , or someone walks by fast and makes a breeze, SERIOUSLY we have cement floors - it was a breeze of a fast walker 12-18 inches away! I am returning the base and our skeleton will sit or get hung by the loop on his head from something above him!
