Q: is this just like the "paper" the delis use to wrap cold cuts that are pre-packaged?

I believe it is. It is good quality.

Q: do they stay strong when wet?

I do not get them wet often but they seem to stay strong.

Q: Is it safe for microwave ?

I have used this to cover food in the microwave and it has worked well.

Q: Has anyone had any luck using these between tshirts while using fabric markers?

I have not, but if you are using them to avoid bleed-through, I’m guessing that they would work fine
