Perfect shimmery goodness
The media could not be loaded. I was happy to come across this set as I've been wanting to create my own encaustic paints and also use them in resin molds. The set came with a broad range of colors which I'm very pleased with. There are a lot of red tones compared to the other colors. These swatched well too, they went on my arm smoothly and seem that they would work for makeup application. They weren't too sheer that you couldn't see the color and they can build for a more full coverage. In the video I used from left to right: Zine, Deep Blue, Coffee (my favorite so far), and on the bottom Orange. Each bag weighed about 5 grams or more with purple weighing the most at 7 grams. This set also came with spoon scoops which I'm so grateful for! It will make grabbing the mica easy and won't make my fingers a pearly mess. Although that wouldn't be a bad thing!I'm extremely happy with these and can't wait to get creating.

Excellent and Amazing!
I was looking for natural ways to color candles because many dyes are toxic. I found that Mica was the closest natural product, as long as it says it's natural, (because some are synthesized in a lab.) Mica does not actually burn which is awesome because that means nothing is being released into the air. However, Mica tends to clog up candle wicks. And the online candle making tutorials were almost nil with Mica. I also heard that Mica wouldn't actually color and/blend well with wax. But I went for anyways! Figured it might work on some melts.Well it worked! And the color came out beautifully. I used the turquoise and it blended perfectly. See attached pics of melts. I used beeswax and a little bit of coconut oil with some essential oil.I already have several ideas to make candles with these gorgeous colors. I'll update my review once I know for sure if the wicks get clogged up. But my review will remain a 5 star because I ordered to color my Wax melts and it did the job waaaaay better than I expected!

LOVE!!
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely beautiful colors! I originally purchased it for candles; however, the mica clogged the wick causing the candle to burn out. I then decided to use it in my wax melts! It looks magical after it's melted in the warmers. The powder is easy to clean out of the warmer plate with no issue and does not burn. A little bit of the powder goes a long ways! It's so shiny and has a sheen to it. The small scoops that came with the powder are helpful. Only thing I would change is to not have them in the bags they're in. Powder tends to poof everywhere when the bag is opened. Otherwise, definitely recommend as this is a great product!!

Exactly what it says it is.
This is exactly what it says it is. Works well in epoxy resin I have not used it for anything else as of yet.My only complaint is that static electricity is a problem with it being in the bags. The mica powder will stick to the sides and be hard to get out without making a bit of a mess. I kinda wish this came in tiny jars with lids, but I'm sure that would affect the price.I love that I can choose how translucent or opaque I want my project to be by how much mica powder I add.

So many color options!
I loved these mica powder packets so much! They worked great with resin and my keychains and coasters came out great! I think the mica powder with resin turned out much better than when I have used paint colors. I also used the mica powder to mix with white chalk paint and it worked really well too! With the white paint, I needed to add a little more powder and they turned out lighter in color, but it was perfect for pastel colors. I really liked this brand of mica powder and will definitely be back for more when I run out!

Tricky to Use
When I got these powders I was very excited to jump in and start using them. Firstly I was not real thrilled that these are more shimmery colors versus basic. However, they are nice colors, just not quite what I was expecting. The powder takes some time to mix in properly with epoxy resin and even then, the colors run a little and give the final product blotchy patterns. I think I will utilize these more for coloring the molds before pours moving forward, I'm hopeful they will work out better that way! Good product, just not what I needed.

Very good deal!
First, I'd like to start off by saying how happy I was that I didn't encounter any issues with mica powder all over the place, that I've seen in reviews from other sellers. This seller sends each color individually sealed, labeled, and all packed nice and neat in the box with 2 spoons. The amount of different colors are awesome and especially for the price. This was the best deal and with way more colors that I found on Amazon. I use these in my pour paintings and I just LOVE the shimmer they give off! 😍

Good quality mica powder for resin!
I use mica powder to color my epoxy resin projects, and this is the best kind I've used yet. A little goes a long way so a box like this will last a long time. The packaging is quite nice too, each color is clearly labeled on a ziploc bag and placed in a cardboard box that holds them all well without being stuffed. The little spoons were a nice extra too! While opaque, they can be used in addition to alcohol inks and still show gold & silver flake. I would recommend them.
