Great features, solid and awesome customer service
Update:I contacted the seller and his response was super fast and sorted out the problem right away. We now have a compass that works well and that one must have been a one off one that has a problem. My son loves it and the feature where you push both bottoms to expand it quickly is super useful when he is doing his geometry homework. That way, he doesn’t have waste time using the small dial to expand the leg or reduce the size.————-(Old review)I was excited to get this for my son for his Geometry class. So was he. All are great such as refills, extra screws, the little metal plate as a screw driver to tighten the screw for the leg that bends, additional leg to draw a big circle (although this isn't necessary for his class), but one slight oversight which is annoying to use is the screw that tightens the legs from bending. The screw head is so shallow, I cannot tighten it before threading the screw. Needless to say that I cannot tighten it. So, when my son uses it, it kept bending when he's putting his point down on the paper firmly so that the compass won't slip off. I told him to grab the bottom part of the leg while he is pushing down on it.Contemplating on returning it and see if we can get the proper one to tighten the legs. But the inconvenience of it... sigh... If they could just replace the screw (if that screw can be replaced), that would be perfect. All other features function fine and would have been a great compass with 5 stars.

Good set, works w/ mechanical pencils
Like it! But refillable lead is a pain, dulls quickly, breaks, must keep unscrewing to advance lead. Fortunately the Pencil holder attaches to larger compass and a slim mech. Pencil fits great, as shown in pic—that means advancing lead from end of pencil, no unscrewing, less interruption in drawing. For small compass w/ thick refillable lead, the sharpener is handy. Well worth the price, good quality!

Pretty good set for the price
Seems to be fairly sturdy and had to do a little scraping and filing to get everything to fit properly, but all in all- it is a nice set

Great product, Great value
I needed to make two large circles on plywood and this fit the bill. High quality, parts fit tight. Maybe there are better compasses for professional drafters, but not at this price. No brainer purchase.

Simple to use with some experimentation of the various attachments.
Inexpensive compas that can be used as a beam compass with an attachment arm. Some metal and sturdy enough for lots of years of useI use it for application of oil paint

Unfortunate Buy (Updated)
The media could not be loaded. *Edit* I would like to first say that the customer service is the best I’ve dealt with. The company does take great pride in their products and are not just sending cheaply made junk. If there’s a problem then they want to know and want to fix it. I hope the issues are addressed and I would definitely purchase from them again. I think I would avoid compasses that have plastic parts that are important components though.I knew at this price that it wouldn’t be made from the best materials or have precise, German like engineering. I was certain that it wouldn’t last for years or even a year at best. At the moment I couldn’t really budget in a high dollar compass so I decided on this one. I bought this around July 8th of 2022 and had immediate regrets. As shown in my video… the inserts that hold the thumbscrew are really loose. The thumbscrew is also loose at certain lengths which has to be adjusted regularly. I say regularly like I’ve had it for awhile but it’s been less than one month. It didn’t slowly start getting loose… it came loose and has progressively gotten worse. It probably wouldn’t be too bad if it wasn’t a precision instrument. Well it is a precision instrument and that means loose parts are a huge problem. It isn’t all bad though. The small compass seems to be kinda decent and would be good for something small, really small. I haven’t used the extension arm mainly because the big compass doesn’t really need more variables to throw everything off. Everything else is pretty basic. I’m always exited when there’s a free sticker and this one came with a mustache one. While that pleases my sticker collection, it’s not enough to gloss over the loose compass. There were a couple of other inconvenience like the lead wouldn’t come out so I could sharpen it. Even after removing the screw that hold it in… I still had to get a pick to get it out.I was excited about the pen attachment because I’ve usually just taped a marker or pen to one of the arms. This was going to be a game changer for inking my drawings. While it does well for pens, it was too small for a sharpie. When I say too small… I was able to force one in it but it took some real effort and a little sandpaper on the sharpie. If only the compass was this tight. There is also a plastic screw on the bottom of the attachment to angle the pen for some reason and it’s awkward to get to. It doesn’t really matter because it’s loose too which makes the compass even more inaccurate.Overall it’s just an unfortunate buy. I had relatively modest expectations but was disappointed when I realized I would have to make constant adjustments and still not get the precision I get from a cheap, flat style compass like I used when I was in school.

Terrible product!
This compass set should not be on the market for sale! There are so many flaws and problems with this thing that I have a hard time finding a starting point to describe them. First of all, nothing was secured in the thin transparent product box, and everything was loose clanging against each other and rattling with the sound of metal and plastic banging around. The thin plastic product box itself was torn in different places, and the compass had banged around inside the box so much that its needle and lead points had lodged themselves into the bottom of the box and sticking out of the bottom of the box a good three eighths of an inch.Beyond this, the compass which is made of plastic at the top (the handle and the plate covering the arm hinges) isn't even straight. In other words, the handle which is supposed to be aligned with the arms is actually at an angle against the arms. And the adjustment screw rod is not horizontal, meaning that the screw holes in the two arms aren't lined up properly. The components such as the pen/pencil adapter and the technical drawing pen handle are made of incredibly cheap plastic. I never opened the box, because this piece of garbage is going back immediately. I could see all the deficiencies through the transparent plastic box's cover and thankfully didn't even have to open the box to observe the problems with this disaster of a product. Just don't waste your money on this compass. Seriously, I wouldn't take it if they gave it to me for free; it's that bad.
