Does not show my cats urine!I bought this light last year in search of a smell on my staircase that I just couldn't find. I have been over every square inch of that carpet and nothing! But I knew something was wrong & I was missing something!Fast forward to today. I bought a new comforter for Christmas and finally changed out all the bedding and put my new comforter on 3 weeks ago. Two days ago I smelled something. I have checked and rechecked and rechecked and nothing shows up with this light! I the spot clearly with my nose, but not this light!!!!!!!Now I know why I never found anything on the stairs case... this light doesn't show cat pee!!!It is well made; sturdy construction! If you bought to to check bills or ID's it's great. If you want to find cat urine... get something different!!! This light doesn't work for urine!!!I would give it zero stars for cat pee! I'll give it 5 stars for checking bills, ID's and mold.I took only 1 star away for urine detecting because it is such a great light otherwise.But now I have to find something to detect urine!

I'm not going to lie when I heard you could use these lights to find tomato hornworms, I was a little skeptical. But when you get tomato plants wiped out by those little pests, you are willing to try anything. Before I had any signs of them, I took this light out after dark, and from about 15ft away could see a pretty small hornworm about 1.5in long glowing like a night light on the plant, you couldn't miss it. I even started to look forward to having more hornworms on my plants just so I could go out and see them glow(maybe a little exaggeration but secretly I did want to see one light up every now and then). If you grow tomatoes any have ever had a tomato hornworm eat up your plant, you should invest in this.

Does what it says - showed me all the things my puppy didn’t want me to see. Great tool for that purpose.

I used this product to see how clean the RV services department delivered my pre-owned RV to me. The price and the effectiveness of this light is considerably less than the cost of the service. Needless to say I won't be wasting that money again.This requires 6 AA batteries that do not come with the light. I would have included them with my order if I had known.
