Dependable Foot Saver for Blisters and Hot Spots This RadBizz moleskin roll has been a staple in my hiking and travel kit for years. At 2" wide and 5 yards long, there’s plenty of material to cut into custom shapes for heels, toes, or anywhere shoes rub. The cotton is soft but durable, and the adhesive backing is strong enough to stay put through long days in boots. I’ve used it breaking in stiff leather shoes, during multi-day hikes, and even inside running shoes. In every case, it’s made the difference between finishing blister-free or hobbling home. The felted surface reduces friction nicely, and because it’s a roll, I can cut strips exactly how I need them. I’ve also used it to line worn-down shoe heels to squeeze a few more months out of them—works surprisingly well. A couple of small notes: the adhesive is very sticky (which is a good thing when you’re counting on it to stay put), but it can leave residue that takes some scrubbing to remove. Also, if your feet sweat a lot, the edges can eventually peel back, so carrying extra strips to reapply is smart. Bottom line: A versatile, heavy-duty moleskin that’s easy to cut, easy to pack, and works better than bandages or tape for blister prevention. Excellent value for anyone who hikes, runs, or just needs relief from shoes that rub.

This inexpensive purchase is going to save me a TON of money! I have a problem where the heels of my shoes (athletic shoes in particular) break down and become uncomfortable. Not sure why it happens but it happens with virtually every pair of shoes I have ever bought. Once that heel breaks down the shoe becomes uncomfortable even though it might only have 2 months of use and everything else about the shoe is still in great condition. In the past I have ended up throwing the shoes away. I learned from the ‘ol inter web that moleskin can help in this situation so I decided to give it a try. This product is as good a quality as what you would get from the major brand (DS), but for the price (and quantity) it is a FAR better buy. It works the same - same adhesiveness, same feel/thickness. And same wear. Once I received it I cut pieces to put in the heel space that was damaged in all my athletic shoes and BOOM, it’s like the shoes are new again. So far I have been wearing them for ~2 months and everything is still holding (although it would be easy to replace the moleskin if needed). Life (well, shoe) savers!

I wear some on my heel and pinky toe every day while wearing my firefighting boots. Great at preventing blisters, easy to cut and pack in my backpack, all at an unbeatable price!

I am hard on my feet and my shoes, but ironically, have very sensitive feet, especially on the top and sides of my toes/feet. I bought this stuff to help me break in some nice but stiff shoes, and it’s really been a godsend. Where bandaids sweat off and paper tape bunches up, this stuff stays put and, because of the felted surface, reduces friction on shoes so I often forgot I was wearing the moleskin at all, which never happens with bandages or tape. I’ve successfully broken in two pairs of flats with this stuff with no blisters or hot spots, and use it for dress shoes when I know I’ll be walking a lot. I use this mostly on my skin, but have also stuck it to my shoes. This works okay, but the adhesive can make the surface of wherever you stuck it - particularly if it’s on the insole — gummy after several long wears. If you’re using it in strips on toes or on on the back of your heel, I’d recommend cutting off the hard corners, so the ends of the strip look like the ends of a bandaid - this makes it less likely that the edge will peel over while you’re walking. All this being said, I did knock off one star for the one major drawback: this stuff is STICKY. It’s so sticky that scrubbing it off after wearing it is almost impossible. After using it last, I washed my toes three times and still had some sticky residue left. I suppose it’s a small price for blister free toes, but good grief. If you want to know how much hair or pet fur your “clean” carpet is hiding, walk across it with leftover industrial-strength adhesive on your toes. Yikes!! But as I said, overall, it’s a small price to pay for a solution that works better than everything else I’ve tried before.

I recently started wearing wigs due to female pattern baldness and had a problem with rough edges on the wigs making me itch. I found a video that suggested mole skin tape so I bought this. It works great!!! I trimmed it to fit the shape of the (I guess you would call it binding?) around the inside edge of the front of the wig from ear to ear. It is so soft and comfortable. I trimmed it right next to the hairline so you have to be a little careful not to cut the hair fibers, but I used a good light and manicure scissors so each cut was small and I could hold the hair out of the way. It worked so well I put the moleskin tape on all my wigs and had lots left over. I haven't needed to wash any of my wigs since putting on the tape so it might come loose later but there is lots left for future use.

I only marked 3 stars for Easy to Remove b/c this product shouldn't be easy to remove and it's not. This is designed to protect my body part, for me, my ankle. B/c of the area I place it, I have to cut the moleskin and cross it. If I don't do this correctly, it can bunch or come off, but usually with one stick - I'm good. I'm pleased with the durability of the product and last time I ran with them, I only got a blister b/c I already had one starting. During my run though - the blister didn't hurt. 5 stars!

This works great! I definitely recommend this product!

This moleskin is disappointingly thin, so it offers very little padding. The adhesive doesn’t work great and the edges often roll up or get stuck on socks or other fabrics.

Fantastic stuff! Saved my toes when walking around all day at Disneyland for a week!

Need better glue when sweating

Does not stick very well. I bought it for anti blister backpacking and i can tell you right now it would fall off and make things worse. Even just around my house for 10 minutes it started to peel. Maybe just a bad batch but i cannot recomend this product to anyone. I just bought leukotape and its coming in a few days, hopefully that is less disappointing than this.
