Q: Can these be washed off?

If your referring to clothes , skin , and brushes, the answer is yes. If your referring to your paper or canvas you can gently wipe it with a soft sponge. If the your talking about a dried painting that hasn't been treated with a sealing agent yet, getting it wet will cause spots and runs. Washing it from paper or canvas will smear it and combine with other colors and muddy your colors. You can do your painting in layers after it dries each time to build richer and thicker paintings. Also, you can use wet paper towels, tools . sponges, to take paint away to create effects, objects, and lighten things to amplify other parts of your picture.

Q: I have mostly qor paints and i'm looking to slowly shift to winsor and newton. do you think they will mix with qor watercolors fine?

I mixed multiple brands of the same water color and had no issues.

Q: This is student grade Cotman paint - why is it over $10? Michaels has this in professional grade for the same price.
