Don't be fouled by the description. It is not true. The only solid construction are the legs, but the cheap plastic part of the chair added by this company is unacceptable. These seats provide no back support (as advertised): If you lean back - it's like falling backwards. The material is too flimsy to support an average adult's weight. You are reclining - and not in a comfortable way. No back problem yet? Just wait. If your dinner guest are not returning - it's not your cooking. We bought chairs of this kind years ago. Love them. They came with exactly the same legs, but the seat was made out of heavy duty material which is comfy and sturdy. In all this years, no cracks or brocken parts at all, as other buyers of these chairs from this company experienced. We just wanted to add two more chairs, but we were fooled by the similar look und description. No idea, where the great rating and Amazon CHOICE is coming from. YES, if you like the design, buy them. You will not regret it, just stay away from the Brand: CangLong. Use another Company.

I saw identical versions of these at TJMaxx, I fell in love. The design has an Ikea look and feel to it. I ended up purchasing these from Amazon & saving a few bucks, like $30ish compared to if I had purchased in store. I also wanted a different color than what I saw in the store. I like the gray, it matches the décor in the children's room. My two older teens share a room. My husband many years ago had built them a huge desk that they both can sit at, they sit directly across from each other. I was using antique chairs that I repainted but they were smaller. With the situation concerning the schools, we quickly had to roll with the punches. I need the two smaller antique chairs for my youngest, setting them up with their own areas for virtual, so I was looking for replacements for the chairs I had for my two older teens, and these were perfect. They love them, they said they are more comfortable, bigger, & so far the chairs have proved to be sturdy. Amazon delivered right to our door! The young men were super polite! My husband helped the girls put the chairs together (they wanted to do it themselves), instructions were clear, they didn't have any issues & everything came together beautifully. They are very proud... and so am I. I am very pleased with my purchase, I didn't have one problem with shipping, packaging, or delivery.Please note; I purchased these in Dec., I wanted to wait on writing the review to be sure they were indeed sturdy-and they most definitely are.

These chairs were the perfect addition to our new ski condo. We replaced old country style chairs and these gave that perfect modern flair to the dining room. The chairs came packaged well and it took about 20 minutes to assemble all 4. Each chair requires 4 screws and it comes with the allen wrench for assembly. The directions are clear and easy if you've ever put together furniture before you will be fine. The only thing that was slightly annoying is the chair legs come with shrink wrapped type plastic which is good because they aren't getting scratched but a huge pain to remove. We ended up taking it off only one chair and just giving up and leaving it on the other chair legs. It kind of works because it gives a shiny quality to the legs that almost looks polished.

The base itself seems sturdy, but I agree with other reviewers that say one should not lean back on the actual chair part. I don’t think it will snap, but it seems like it will turn into a noodle and bend (😂). I’m not willing to test this out, but I hope no one ever experiences it! Overall, I think it was a good purchase! I bought the “Used” version (approximately $42-$45), as I am not willing to pay $60 to $100+ (I have checked A LOT of these chairs!) for most things. 😅 I’ve been wanting these chairs for years (Yes, YEARS!) and I’m glad I finally made the move! The minimalistic, Scandinavian “white with light wood” decor is magical!Det er så godt (It is so good!)!

I purchased these for my son and his new apartment. They were perfect size and style for his apartment which is predominantly white gray and black. He is very satisfied with them, states they are comfortable and we’re easy to set up. He is a thin guy, approximately 150 pounds so cannot speak to how sturdy they would Before larger people but he is fully satisfied with them.

So far so good! We just got these and my boyfriend was able to assemble them pretty quickly and easily. My contribution was tearing the plastic and styrofoam off all the legs. He was skeptical and thought they’d be very uncomfortable, and while we haven’t had a chance to take them for a proper “spin”, we did both sit in them to test and I weigh 250 and felt fully supported and honestly the chair felt WAY more comfy than I expected! We shall see how it goes after we use them for an actually dinner or get together of some sort. But for now, very pleased!

These are so cute, easy-to-assemble AND low cost! I definitely recommend these chairs for a modern look. I paired them with a bench on the opposite side. Looks great! They are comfortable, too!

I was surprised when I seen the 4 set chairs come in one box I literally thought they were missing items but everything came together . Assembly of the chairs were easy and took me 40 minutes to put together which isn’t so bad . Goes with the aesthetic of the home and I’m happy I made the purchase . Very comfortable to sit in and trains your back posture to be straight . Would definetly recommend others to buy .

Nice chair light and easy to assemble but too wide to fit between my daughters desk. Had to send back.

It deformed after the first time I sat on it. I am returning these.

Sat on twice and they broke. Of course, not in time to return.
