OxiClean Max Force Gel Stain Remover Stick, 6.2 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I like to think there is no stain that I can't remove. So far, with this product, that is the case. Of course, I make sure to occasionally rub the product into the fabric. That seems to help on tough stains.

great product but very little in gel form per bottle vs the spray bottle and same price. one bottle could last 2 loads for spot stain cleaning in a heavy or above normal setting for stain removal. seems like very little in the bottle to the point where using it and having to stamp down on the stain to activate and release the gel onto the fabric is less effective than if there were to be the same gel but with a tube and nozzle for dispensing onto targeted areas for stain removal. sometimes i overlap clothes and dab one so that multiple spots/items get the gel, but you still go through these quickly. i'd prefer shout's stain remover brush top to set the gel deeper into the stain to be more effective but its powerful enough that no brush is really needed, especially when its designed to dump a lot of gel onto the stain regardless of its size or intended amount. its unfortunately too effective on removing the stains i encounter with my laundry loads to stop me from trying another brand despite all those little drawbacks.

I originally bought this because I used up the last of my roommate's stick when she was out of town and I ran out of my other stain remover midway through a load of laundry. It worked well, but none of the stains I was using it on were that crazy, so I wasn't crazy impressed or anything. I ordered this to replace the stick I used up before my roommate got back, not realizing I was ordering a 2 pack. When I got both, I set one aside for her and decided to use the other one myself because why not, I had already bought it?Then, apparent disaster struck: I was dying my hair with permanent red dye and foolishly reached out of the shower to grab something while I was rinsing out the dye. Cue me getting permanent red dye all over my mostly white cloth shower curtain. I really thought I was screwed because hair dye can, of course, also dye fabric and there would be no way to get the red out. The curtain has a dark-colored design on it, so bleach wasn't an option. I immediately wet the area and as soon as I got out of the shower, I used this on the front and back of my shower curtain where I had gotten the dye. Now, this stuff is not magic: the dye did not magically come out after the first application. It took about 3-4 days of rewetting the area with a spray bottle and reapplying this stain stick to get the stain 90% faded. I then washed it with normal detergent and my shower curtain looks as good as new! I feel like a lot of the negative reviews are from people who expect this to work instantly. If you have a really bad stain, it will likely take several repetitions of wetting it and working this stain stick in before it gets to the point where the stain will completely go away in the wash. Your patience will be rewarded!

This stain remover gets the job done! Apply it to your clothes, wait for it to soak in a bit, then throw it in the wash. 9/10 times the stain will be gone by the time the cycle is complete.I give this 4 stars because when this 2 pack was delivered to me, both containers had quite a bit of gel leaking out the top, so I had to spend some time wiping that off before using. I understand that this product probably went through temperature and pressure changes during the shipping period, but knowing this the shipper should figure out a way to make this a cleaner process.

I absolutely love this stain stick! We have gone through so many of these over the years since our daughter was born because I’ve found it to be so effective in removing organic stains (food, drinks, vomit, poop, grass, dirt, etc). Whatever she did to her clothes, it got it out. For that reason alone it’s worth it, and you can treat the clothes either right when the stain happens or later, and then don’t need to worry about washing till you’re ready. It gets the stains out even if I’m washing the clothes days later. I’ve purchased these as gifts for friends after they have a baby, since it came in handy for us a million times.OxiClean, I’m available if you need a spokesperson!

As a years-long user of Shout Ultra Gel and OxiClean powder, I decided to try the OxiClean Gel Stick. OGS is much tougher on stains than SUG, and it’s ideal on whites in particular. The yellow stains on my white slipcovers and my white tees and white linens are gone. When I applied it on deep-set turmeric stains on a pink cotton tee before machine washing it, the spots came out a lighter pink than the rest of the shirt, as if they had been bleached - it’s that powerful!Another pro is that the bottom push-up mechanism ensures that all the gel is used up, and the window shows what remains. Unlike SUG, no need to shake or turn it upside down to get all the product out.The scent is so strong that lingers even after 3 consecutive machine wash cycles using hot water (I found this out from washing my slipcovers), but it’s not offensive.The only real con is that you can’t control how much product is dispensed, since it comes out in fixed amounts when pushed down on fabric. So the stick empties out far sooner than the product in the SUG squeeze packaging, thereby making the OGS more wasteful and pricier.That said, will be repurchasing.

I've purchased several of these and it really is awesome! A few of us ladies got together for a bachelor watching party and well, we drank a little red wine and who the heck knows what happened on the bachelor that night, LOL!!! I had a whole glass of red wine knocked all over me and on a light grey t-shirt. I wish I could find the pictures to post. I was shocked that this little gem of a bottle got every bit of it out!!!! I was shocked and so were all my friends that were there and saw it. So I would say I definitely would recommend. I've bought several bottles in the last couple of years!
