A pretty simple useful guide may have to improvise.
Pretty straight forward guide to keeping to a routine. Use of body weight makes it travel friendly. With that said I feel it's not 5 stars worthy but useful. I found the Sumo squat not as effective and actually strained my groin. Push-ups are a concern because of tendinitis in my left shoulder. And my right shoulder the same when i fully hang for the pull-ups. The Hindu squat is not knee friendly so I'll do the traditional not all the way to the floor variety. Mr. Hess is in tremendous shape. Kudos to him. I use Perfect push-up handles and that seems to help the left shoulder. I bought a 90 lb pulldown band along with the door attachment. I also bought a 40-80 lb pull-up assist band. Haven't tried it yet but should work great on that exercise. I try doing just the hang to strengthen that my grip and arms. I'm careful not to make the shoulder worse. The band pulldowns are great! A rope or towel on the door handle is just not as effective. One last thing is I do reverse pull-ups from a stool. That is not easy so it's good to work on. In summary Mr. Hess has the right idea thus the 4 stars. 6 pack abs probably if you're gifted and work hard and diet. But in 2 weeks I've noticed improvements. Thank you Jim Hess!

Staying fit over 60
I just started working out again after 20 years. As we get older our priorities change in life, I’m not interested in getting buff or ripped or even getting a 6 pack. Just staying fit as I can in my later years and “6 Pack after 60”is just right for us older guys. It’s a short book, it’s informative and practical. I do like the body weight exercises in the book. At our age unless you’ve never stopped training, body exercises is plenty. However I do incorporate a few resistant band exercises in my routine. Overall, if your 50+ this book is a good fit

Exercise for Older Americans.
Short book but long is not necessary . I am using the exercises contained in the book and have started to see results. Not hard to do except pull ups.

Amazing, Simple and Forever Healthy
I’m 60 and doing weight lifting and trying learning from everybody. Today, I learned the Hindu Squat, it’s amazing because I just started 100 push and 200 squats and because this Hindu Squat is performed on your toes give to you more strength and balance. I’ll be ever thankful for teaching a simple way for many people over 60 that can get back and recover and have more control of your body and preventing falls. Other thing that I learned and it’s getting hard for me is doing Pull Up, I’ll continue until performing it as you do. I recommend reading this book to everybody from young people to older. Start at early is better but never is late. As we say today, take an avocado a day take the doctor away!

Simplicity at its Best!
The only issue I have with Jim's book is the mention of a diet book which, after some years, has not appeared. In addition, his website is not in use and neither is his e-mail address. Seems he simply disappeared after writing this book. I hope all is well with him and his wife.Any updates would be much appreciated!Allan

6 Pack After 60: A Simple & Effective System for Getting & Staying Strong
The only fitness system you will ever need, period. You won't need to waste hours at a gym. You will be able to transform yourself in as little as 10 minutes a day, in the privacy of your home.I'm not sure of a 10 minute transformation but it is a good fitness system.

Less is More
This is the basic strength training for everybody irrespective of age though the author targeted senior citizens. It's well presented. There's no pressure. It's up to you to decide when and how to get back or to remain in shape. So, one doesn't need to be 60 to take advantage of the content of this book.

Simple as the title says, but a solid approach to reach a good physique
Getting a six pack isn't all about exercise (the book really shine in this point) If you do not care about your nutrition you won't gonna make It.Even though the author sayed to published another book on nutrition he could delivered a brief of It in this one.But its a good book in overall.
